For Multibit: open notepad, type the private key, save, close, rename the .txt with .key, open multibit, import private key->choose import file

That would work today. There is no way to know if blockchain.info will still be around in 10 years, but it is pretty much certain that there will be a way to import a private key somewhere to access the coins in 10 years (if bitcoin still exists then).

Give the Private Key in WIF format. It is all she needs. Most wallet software support the incorporation of private keys, which for all practical purposes means to add this money to the wallet.
