There isn't any feature to report a personal text on the forum to be a threat and I don't think it should be reportable as it is a users personal advertising space.

I don't even think it is that serious of an threat though, rather just an move out of spite.

So you think people should be allowed to post content that is not allowed in a post or a pm to be displayed in their personal text and signature space? Also, when it comes to advocating  to "K*ll" someone, don't we need to draw a line somewhere? I really think at least a temporary ban is in order here.

I went ahead and sent a PM to theymos on this matter, to see if he can weigh in.

Edit: Banned for 30 days. Locking the thread.

You can report the PM to a moderator, the link to do so is in the same location as just like any other post.  Report the PM, if the responsible moderator agrees it's a legitimate threat, the account will be banned.

It's not a PM. It's the personal text. The one that usually goes under someone's avatar.

I would really prefer not to post the above image. However, I guess I need to clarify what I'm talking about.

I have already reported it by just doing report to moderator function on one of their posts and tried to explain. However, the threat is not contained in a post.

Hmm...
In my opinion, maybe the best way is make the thread in reputation board, explaining what he does to you and give the proof from his death threat PM (maybe screenshot)

Not sure its true or not Smiley

My links gives the proof. It's in his personal text on his profile. Not a post or personal message. Also, the threat is not directed at me, but other users. Moving thread to reputation board.

Yeah, "reputation" should be the right subboard.
That is the place for it and necessarily including proof!
To attract additional attention via "Report to Moderator" is certainly no mistake.

Hope this can be solved quickly for you Lips sealed
