You need to check 'Extend this seed with custom words' then you just need to write the seed without the additional words
This has been already mentioned in this thread and OP's problem has been already solved.

And no, you won't be able to add them later.
Wrong you have to add them later on the next page you cant enter them with the seed
I think you didn't OmegaStarScream correctly.
By "you won't be able to add them later.", OmegaStarScream means that you can't add the passphrase after creation of the wallet and you have to enter your passphrase when creating the wallet.

You need to check 'Extend this seed with custom words' then you just need to write the seed without the additional words
and click Next after that Electrum will ask you to write your additional words which mean those words are not written with the seed
but instead you will have to write them in the next window after you wrote the seed and click next

Strange. I was trying to understand as to why would Electrum "check" the additional words. AFAIK, those are supposed to be random words set by the user, and should not be part of the worldlist so why does Electrum consider it as "invalid"?
It doesnt check the passphrase it only check the seed the additional words should be written in the next window
after you enter the seed and you click next

Maybe I need to select the file of the previous wallet before recovery, because of this, or it should be restored only by the seed phrase? But I do not have this file.
No, you don't need the wallet file when recovering your wallet from seed phrase.
All your keys can be derived from your seed phrase (+custom words, if there's any) and that's all you need for recovering your wallet.

Where did you enter your passphrase (your additional words)? I guess you entered your passphrase along with your seed phrase in "Enter seed" window.
Click on "options", check "Extend this seed with custom words", enter your seed phrase (without your passphrase) and click on "Next". After that, electrum will ask your passphrase in a new window.

Right. Any combination of characters can be used as passphrase and electrum doesn't do any check for the passphrase at all.

Why are you telling him to check bip39? There is no indication that the seed is anything other than an electrum seed so checking bip39 will not work. He needs to check "extend this seed with custom words" and not bip39.
Oh, yes. You are right. I mentioned checking "extend this seed with custom words" in my other post and mistakenly mentioned "BIP39" instead of "extend this seed with custom words" in that post.
Thanks for the correction. I just edited that post.

Click on "options", check "BIP39 seed", enter your seed phrase (without your passphrase) and click on "Next". After that, electrum will ask your passphrase in a new window.

I didn't understand anything, to be honest. What is a passphrase? I have seed words and two additional words (custom words), how do I enter them?

A passphrase is anything you add to extend your seed phrase. It can be a single word, multiple words, or any other combination of characters. After you enter your seed phrase (without custom words) and click next, Electrum should display a new window asking for a "Seed extension." Enter your custom words in the provided field and you should be able to proceed to the next step. If you don't see the "seed extension" window, go back one step and check the "extend the seed..." in the options and repeat the process.

By passphrase, I mean your custom words.

After you select "I already have a seed", you see a window in which electrum asks your seed phrase. Enter your seed phrase there and click on "options" and check "Extend this seed with custom words."
In the next window, electrum will ask your custom words.

The additional custom words are the passphrase, these are the words you enter right after the seed phrase has been entered and electrum asks you for the passphrase. Be cautious of the characters on those words

The button works if you don't enter any additional words, but will it be restored? Or will it ask for these additional words later?

A wallet is going to be restored because it's a valid seedphrase, but it's not going to have the funds you're looking for. And no, you won't be able to add them later.

@hosseinimr93 or @nc50lc might be able to shed more light on this.

On the window where you type the seedphrase, click "Options" and then select "extend the seed with custom words". You should now be able to include the additional words you added before.

Yes, that's what I did, there is no next button, that's the question.

Try to type the seed without the additional words, and without checking that checkmark. If the button is still greyed out, then the issue must be with the original seed you wrote (maybe you mistyped it?) and has nothing to do with the custom words.

I had electrum on my mobile phone, on android, I lost the password for it, for entering the phone. I have a wallet seed phrase, with additional words and a password, what is the best way to restore it on a computer with Windows? I try to enter the seed phrase, add additional words, and the button "next" does not work, although there is a check mark, entering additional words. Or if I know the password, can I restore the wallet easier?
