This recipe can acctually take a long time, but it is better than lose your wallet forever.

So.
We need very small amounts of tools, but we also need to be a hacker a lil bit, or we better have such a friend indeed, so he can help us with couple lines of code first.

- We need some mining-farm, to posibly accelerate our process
- One full bitcoin blockchain node BTC
- And some computer (even without connection to the internet)

When we got it all, we ourself or our slicky-fingered friend shall adopt some program like hashcat/john-the-ripper/etc to put 2048 words into 12 slots randomly (maybe via adopted Electrum client) using our computing powers, also writing down used combinations to avoid iteration.
And!
Automatically writing down in another place a founded seed-phrases, which balance is not = 0. Because we remember that our wallet wasn't empty!
So all we need to do is serfe throught founded variants and try to remember which one was ours!

Somebody can say that we need to check billions of billions combinations to check whole node and it will take some crazy amount of time. BUT! I ansist that our wallet is not the last of combinations in the row!
Let the great lottery begins!!!

If you've used a seed multiple times to access bitcoins in your Electrum wallet, chances are you still remember it.

Our subconscious remembers all the information that we receive and use in practice.  The main question is how to extract this information from your brain?

You can try to do it yourself or with the help of another person.

If you yourself want to remember a forgotten seed phrase, then you need to recreate the whole atmosphere of the moment when you used the Electrum wallet.  You must be in the same room, the same music must be playing, you must remember what you were thinking when you prepared to make a deal.

Gradually, word by word, you will be able to recall the entire seed phrase in your memory.  You can also invite a specialist who knows the technique of hypnosis.  The main thing is that he does not have the idea to steal your bitcoins!

With the help of a hypnotist, you have every chance to restore a forgotten seed phrase in your memory.

As for the seed phrase recovery method you suggested, unfortunately it is not working and cannot be effectively used in the situation under consideration.

The only way to restore a forgotten or lost seed phrase is if you backed it up. Any other way does not work due to the security of the network.

Avoid any service that tells you they can access a wallet address without the phrase or private keys.

Don't u know is there some timeout for try a new seed-phrase or there is not?

There's no timeout, because it's running on your local computer, which means it can run as fast as your hardware allows it to run - which by the way is still fairly slow in the case of seed phrases, even if you are using GPUs, because of the PBKDF2 function (and subsequent hashes to generate an address) that is designed to make the process as slow as possible.

The only way to find this is through specialized software kinda like "Wallet Recovery Services" we have here in the forum as I once forgot the password of my 2014 Blockchain wallet and remembered just some letters from it and Dave from the service found it for me.
Cracking a password is exponentially easier than cracking a list of 12 words where you have no idea which words were used or in what positions.

Like you said yourself, even for your password you needed to give Dave some more information so he had something to work with. Knowing some characters from it, the total character count, whether or not you used numbers, special characters, lowercase or uppercase letters speeds up the process. A 12 or 24-word seed can't cracked. I think 4 words is the maximum that today's hardware can do under the assumption that you know the positions of the missing words and that the ones you know are correct.

If a small portion of 2048^12 or 5,444,517,870,735,015,415,413,993,718,908,291,383,296 looks easy enough for you.
Why don't you just go straight create a 128-bit entropy to create the seed phrase instead of scrambling 2048 words?
2^128 is relatively smaller than 2048^12.

You'll save a few billion years by going for that  Wink

So what? It is a chance!

*You also making this mistake as many peopple in here - you mean that we need to check ALL of existing combinations to find a wallet for the first time. But we don't!

So there's no way for that...

There is no way for what? To find a funded wallet address by randomly shuffling a 12-word seed phrase? I would say no.

If it were, don't you think someone would have figured it out by now? Bitcoin's value is based on the fact that it is secure and impossible to hack. If it were that easy to access someone's funds, Bitcoin wouldn't be worth much at all.

You are not the first person to think of this. It is been a topic of discussion in the Bitcoin community for years, and all the experts agree that it is virtually impossible.

What if noone have tryed? Or has, but stayed silent!  Cheesy

Try the Altcoin Mining board for this, mining farms here in the Bitcoin boards all use SHA256 ASICs which wont be useful in that use-case.
Look for GPU mining farms specifically.

Link to "Mining (Altcoins)" board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0

On a side note: I doubt that you can convince any GPU farm owners to help you with this wild goose chase though.

In other words, you're trying to steal other's Bitcoin.
I do nothing, sir!

Alright, i correct my statement.

And by the way i am interested in how somebody can prove that my wallet belong to him?

You ask wrong question. If someone generate random seed-phrase and somehow generate one which contain Bitcoin, they should realize ethnically it doesn't belong to them.

So there's no way for that... Except "realize ethically"  Cheesy

You don't seem to have much of idea on what are your chances for find the seed, right?
If only a small number of words are missing, OK, you can do it. But without no other info you will most probably not find anything useful during your lifetime (and I'm being overly generous on this).

So I recommend you read much-much more before offering this kind of services, which, at this stage, are dangerously close to what we call... scam.

I also recommend people don't give money or sensitive information to this "service".
If one has lost some words of his seed, ask around publicly for advises and may recover it. If one lost his seed completely.. bad luck.
Goind blindly for this kind of services can only get more money lost or even the initial coins stolen.

Even in such legal service as offered here, they still need you to remember some words at least from the phrase in order to give a try and even with those words it is extremely difficult.Any other service listed here without proofs like the one I mentioned which I used and loved the results I do not believe.
