It happens so I have VPS, on which I run Tr node. Not to throwaway 30 gigs of SSD, I decided to run Electrum server there. Not it can't announce itself on freenode, because Tor is banned there (stupid rules!). Moreover, Electrum server consumes 100% CPU, trying to connect IRC. So I switched off IRC in Electrum and tried to workaround this by creating IRC buddy by myself. I created nick E_kellerman with username "[Suspicious link removed] v0.8 p100 t h" on #electrum from other (not banned) IP. This does not work. My Electrum server is still not in public list.
Link above is my domain name, similar to my name Paul Kellerman plus dot tk.
