So, once again you see: tools are important but depends of the user and how he/she is using the tool.
This is a good point but nobody would use a broken knife if they know they can use a platinum-gold-plated sword to cut a tree.

Generally, installing the OS is the best way but some people avoid it. So you can use the virtual machine.
Don't you think running a live OS is simpler compared to installing it on their hard drives? Especially if the purpose is only for checking transactions.

Already said a little bit about live version but unfortunately many people have no idea about it. then I had to explain them. that's completely another topic.
Even your platinum-gold-plated sword can't always cut any tree, trust me xD
But again thanks for your contributing friends
you made a good point

I said virtual machine is recommended because usually some people prefer not to change the primary OS and don't know about the live version on flash drivers
so, the best way can  be virtual machine. however if you can and you want, you should install the OS completely on your PC.

Fair point, but IMO you should emphasize the reason you recommend using VM.

Also pay attention to this part: "If the host operating system is compromised with a software keylogger or other malware, then it can break the security features of Tails."
As I said in the begging first make sure about your AV/firewall/etc...

AV/firewall/etc... doesn't give 100% guarantee your host OS is secure though

1. Yes, thanks for the advice the post is just edited. (I thought knows about this)
2. Actually nothing can! Nothing can actually give anyone 100% guarantee about the security. But this mean you should stop using AV, firewall, etc...? No, It's not. In my own idea and based on my experience 90% of the times it's all about the user it self and how he/she react. Imagine a super high secure machine but the owner will use the password on some unsafe environments or... what's why I made some warnings about the dark-web. Also, about the OS: It is important what OS you use. But! a highly confined win os is much better than not confined tails os. So, once again you see: tools are important but depends of the user and how he/she is using the tool.
But yeah, thanks for the contributing on the topic and sharing your opinion with us.

Using virtual machine is recommended.
Sincerely,

If you really need security and privacy, using VM is not recommended, especially if the host OS is Windows. Read https://tails.boum.org/doc/advanced_topics/virtualization/index.en.html and https://tor.stackexchange.com/a/11890 for detailed information

However I use the tails OS on my laptop and installed it completely, also I'm not using any other OS in my laptop. But for many people (depends on budget) it's impossible.
So, Everything depends on yourself.

Greetings everyone,
Many people who own bitcoins are usually thing about the security, their privacy and staying anonymous in the internet.
Here I'm going to show you how to check the Blockchain transactions anonymously.
In order to do it anonymously we will use the dark-web onion network.
- Optional: Use the Tails OS (Operating system based on Debian-Linux, aimed at preserving privacy and anonymity.)
1. Make sure about the firewall/anti-malware/anti-virus.
2. Use a high secure VPN (I recommend express VPN)
3. Download tor-project internet browser here: https://www.torproject.org/download/ (Available for Windows, Linux, IOS and Android)
4. Now you can enter this URL in your tor browser: http://explorerzydxu5ecjrkwceayqybizmpjjznk5izmitf2modhcusuqlid.onion/
You can now check the transactions with an unknown-fake user identify so none can track you (not easily).
Attention: During this little guide you will get assess to the dark web. In this network never use your own identify and never even open the normal websites (also known as clearnet websites). Avoid downloading known stuff.
In this network you can find many illegal websites but I never suggest you visit them at all.
There are many other useful websites inside this network, BUT also there many dangerous places you should avoid them.
You can use a virtual machine if you can't install the OS completely on your machine or know don't know about the live version of the OS.
Sincerely,
