i hope at some point a brand new type of buyer enters who see these 1.0 btc coins as bragging rights to their friends, hopefully celebrities and sports players. I still have great confidence that premiums on high denomination coins will come back, i mean sh!t if baseball cards can make a comeback decades later then these highend coins are still very special imo.  just me 2 cents

I think it's more to do with the premium being priced in BTC vs $. Cas Silver and Gilts regularly went for 2-3btc back when BTC was just a couple hundred $'s. Now you'll be lucky to even get 1.1BTC because .1BTC is worth a lot more than 1-2btc back in the active Cas trading days.

That may happen for some wealthy few I guess, but I think as time goes on , people also may get more nervous about peeling it and being able to redeem it. Not like that's happened that I'm aware of for Cas coins, but who knows.

Satoshi loves sleazy bitcoin too - Ordinals
auction houses charge 20% buyers premium so you will be lucky to get much over 1 btc for it. Like owlcatz said, if you want the moneys, peel and claim... sell the carcass...

I have a loaded BTC1 coin graded ANACS MS61 that I would like to sell, but I'm not sure how to actually do it given the current value. I tried contacting a couple of auction houses to see if they would do consignment but neither of them ever replied to me. (Stacks & Bowers, and Heritage) Any tips?

Unfortunately, premiums have gone way down on cas coins since btc is so high. Many people just peel then sell the carcass.

risk vs. reward ratio is slim, but you may find a buyer. is it silver or brass btw?

Contact Minerjones here on the forum if you need a reliable escrow as well.
