There are PAID and Free bitcoin transaction acceleration services available now which you can use to keep your own transaction from getting stuck.

For example pushtx.btc.com: this service is provided by BTC.com in cooperation with several main mining pools. The fee was around 70 USD on December 20, 2017 and the transaction was confirmed within 3 hours. You can pay by BCH or country-specific methods and they estimate the fee based on the transaction size. They promise a chance of 75% for including transactions in the next block within one hour. Within 4 hours the chance is claimed to be at 98%.

This website can provide you with useful information. They mention that it's not always best to pay more for a faster transaction speed; a reliable solution is to wait until the transaction is confirmed through normal means.

If you put higher commission, miners would confirm your transaction way faster. But if you want to send it inside the same exchange, it might be fast and now expensive (that's, how it works on freewallet, for example)

Is advisable to set the confirmation time to priory rather than normal. If you do that, you pay more fees yet it is confirmed within 30 minutes rather than normal which takes hours.

Previously it took me 3, 4 days to transfer from an exchange to Coinbase. Such speed but costly transaction  Huh So if we were to send small amount of bitcoin it is definitely not worth it right?

In light of the high fees and slow transaction time, sometimes when transferring between different exchanges like in this scenario, some people would use the BTC to buy LTC on the exchange first, then send the LTC to Coinbase, then use the LTC to trade for BTC on Coinbase.  It's a bit of a hassle, but the transactions should go through pretty fast so the fluctuation in LTC/BTC price should be negligible.

Also, some exchanges, like QuadrigaCX based in Canada, do not charge transfer fee - they actually pay the miner fee for you.  So that might be something worth considering.

If you use Electrum, you can generate a SegWit enabled address
Segwit transactions take less fee when sending due to how SegWit works
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SegWit

Just generate a new Segwit Wallet and send all of your coins from your old wallet into the Segwit one, you shouldn't have ridiculously high fees for your next transactions and beyond
If you're willing to wait, Lightning Network is also on its way, with it we should have a close to zero fees for transactions

Recently I have sent a amount of bitcoin to a address.Already 3 days have passed didn't arrive. Is there any way to send btc more faster.

Yeah, at current blockchain situation would be probably faster and cheaper to print the private key, put into envelope and send via post office.

All you can do is use function replace-by-fee (if you have it enabled in your wallet) and raise the fee.

For that is fee bigger and it is depends from which exchange you want to sent money. If you want to transfer from MEW you have command on top Gwei. But when was the correction by all market cap, you was lucky to send btc quickly, because there was many people who want to transfer their own investment and miner could not make it that quickly

For fast transactions today you need to pay at least 0.001 bitcoins in fees. There's not much point trying to send less than 0.001 bitcoins if you have to pay more than that in fees to get it confirmed quickly.

Yes there is. Next time, use a higher transaction fee. It the transaction fee is too low, which in your case it seems like it is, no one will want to mine (process) that transaction so it may be stuck indefinitely.

If you send with proper transaction fees, which as of right now around averaging around $25, the transaction should be confirmed in about 30min to an hour.

You need to pay a high fee to send transactions quickly. The required fee constantly changes, but today it's about 0.001 bitcoins (100000 satoshis).

Check this website before you send anything. Scroll down to where it shows the best fee to pay

https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

Today it says pay 470 satoshis/byte

Quote
Which fee should I use?

The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 470 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.
For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 106,220 satoshis.

Please note that many wallets use satoshis-per-kilobyte or bitcoins-per-kilobyte, so you may need to convert units. See our instructions for more details.

If your wallet won't let you pay such a high fee then switch to another wallet that will.

Where did you send it to, and where did you send it from? 3 days is very unusually long. Bitcoin transfers are generally much faster than this.
