I once heard a platform ...I think coinbase or so..do send bitcoin to email address... Am yet to know how that is possible tho....
I don't think it is possible, the only thing i know to send bitcoin is to ask them for thier bitcoin address, then using that address you can now send him/her a bitcoin. That's what i am doing.

you have to use American wallet provider Coinbase but than you have to register and login into their website.
For clarification, your bitcoins are not stored locally on your machine, they are stored on the Bitcoin network which means they are also on my computer and on every other peer's computer. The difference is, you have the access to your bitcoins .

As far as I know is that Blockchain supported to send Bitcoin to an email address or even to a phone number in the early days. With the second version of the Wallet, they removed this feature along with other great security features.

There's a Tutorial from 2014 for this indeed.But, this isn't really sending Bitcoin as it's designed to be, it's just a third-party that promotes it's website to new users, and the sender can reverse the payment if it doesn't get claimed. It's kinda like sending a Paypal-payment to any email address that doesn't use Paypal yet.
Alternative, if you insist on paying in Bitcoin, just give them a funded paper wallet, in person. But to be honest it's just annoying if someone wants to pay you in a format you're not familiar with. If someone wants to pay me in Skrill for example, I'll politely decline.
Third party in the sense, you have are sending payment to email address with the wallet.dat file right.
If you want to send the bitcoin to the email address that is obviously not safe to send and hackers attack your transaction and steal that amount.

But it says only invalid address bro, unless you added the dat file in the e-mail message.

I don't think it's possible it doesn't work as paypal. You only require to have bitcoin address of the person whom you're trying to send funds as others have said there are some service which send bitcoins to email address I would advice you to learn how bitcoin system works to avoid loss of your bitcoins as it's totally different from paypal good luck

i was using xapo service 1 year ago without any problems for little and fast transactions, now i am not using it, but i am sure they are trusted and you can use it, but anyway first check their service, if they are good for now

You can send part of your wallet with bitcoin via email.
Create new email, add your wallet.dat to your message and send.
SENDING wallet.dat via email is NOT SAFETY and you can lost your all bitcoins..

What bitcoin wallet are you using? As i remember only xapo wallet and coinbase wallet has the ability to send bitcoin using an email address. If you are using another bitcoin wallet it is impossible to send it . Alternative way to use in sending bitcoin is you will scan the qr code of bitcoin address of the receiver.

Technically, you can't send bitcoin to an email address. Obviously how come and no possibility as there is no connection.
However, there are web exchanges that able you to used email address when sending so that it's way more less hassle. But remember that the transaction was meant only for clients under that same exchanges. Examples are Coinbase, XAPO , Coinbank (not sure). Also our local exchanger here have a feature like that.

What you're asking is like saying you want to send an email to a post office box. You can't.
Send an email, ask for their Bitcoin address, send the Bitcoins there. That's how Bitcoin works.
We have a local app that provides this service and this app is coins.ph. You can use the app to send bitcoins by using your recepient's phone number, email address or even facebook account aside from sending directly to its bitcoin address AS LONG AS your recepient is also a coins.ph user and at the same time, those phone numbers, email address & facebook account are verified and connected to the user's coins.ph account. So we can say it's more on internal transactions. Maybe this is what ann2230 is looking. Send an email, ask for their Bitcoin address, send the Bitcoins there. That's how Bitcoin works.

There must be a combination between both email address and bitcoin address so that you can send / recieve bitcoin using email. I think currently there is no such services .

Bitcoin has nothing to do with email and of course you can't send coins to an email address. Bitcoin is fully decentralized and associating Bitcoin addresses with email addresses would require some form of centralization (which would create a security and privacy risk and completely defeat the purpose and all the benefits of Bitcoin technology in the first place).
So to answer your question, Bitcoin is not PayPal, they are completely on different sides of a spectrum. If you want to have such a feature, you will have to use some centralized service, like someone's website, and fully trust them with those bitcoin's.

I don't think that exists yet. Someone would have to create software that links an e-mailaddress with a bitcoin address, but under the hood it would still be a bitcoin address to bitcoin address transaction.
