Sending it from HK to Singapore will odds are cost many times more than what he is selling. My guess is this guy has a small mining operation going. Hong Kong and Singapore are two different countries with different banking systems.

It would be like Canada trying to get into a bank in Mexico. You can do it but my guess is the costs will be prohibitive.

Yes, but according to a previous mt.gox press release their HK bank doesn't charge fees for either receiving or sending funds - maybe the Singapore bank would charge something. It's usually just the sending bank that demands a fee (at least that's my experience moving funds from the UK to China).

edit: I found the quote

"We'll have a new bank account in Hong Kong (we already do, in fact, We're just waiting for the online access token which should be delivered soon) which will allow us to waive all fees on incoming international wires. We'll also be able to make free outgoing International wires."

Hi,

What is the easiest way to convert my bitcoins to USD and then send to my overseas account (in Singapore bank account). Alternatively, any easy way to send the same to international credit card (VISA/Mastercard)? Please note that amounts are small, so direct wire transfers will not be feasible.

thanks,

kislam

Can't you just convert them to $ on mt.gox and then withdraw them to your account? mt.gox does have a Honk Kong bank account, so assuming they do it form there there shouldn't be any fees.
You should ask them if they would do it from their HK account instead of their US account.

I would be willing to buy them from you. Do you know of a way to get Thai Baht into a Singapore account?

Actually I am looking for an automated online solution that will transfer the funds to my account or card (i don't mind paying a fee). I am not looking to sell to any person.

thanks,

kislam
