Most of the airdrops that I have joined not any single airdrop that I am able to earn money even $1. It is a waste of time if you ask me. At this time airdrops are not worth your time or it's just a waste of time if you ask me. You should read all of replies in this thread i'm sure the other forum users would also say that airdrops are a waste of time.

or simply gain free advertising for their project with zero intention of ever rewarding you for your hard work.
Usually, you have to complete simple tasks such as retweeting tweets or sharing posts and providing your address to receive your tokens from airdrops. I don't see how could that be considered as hard work!
Just keep in mind that you are receiving tokens for free, so don't expect those tokens to have any value in the future.

For me in my own experience i don't trust the airdrops in telegram bots because there are too many tasks and might get your private key after that, they will show you a huge balance and let you fill out a form and get your private key, also try the airdrop with kyc but not all of em are legit just pick a website that has a nice UI and professionally made and also check it's domain if it's scam free and registered and the most important thing are there are no airdrops that's asking for a private key.

I have applied to many airdrops in the past and now have decided not to do anymore that, because of the waste of time is big, when we don't know who is behind each project, we need to verify every aspect of the project, starting with how reliable the team is, also to see if they are committed and have good communication.

Time will tell you if the team is good or not, and also experience will help you decide which is a good project to support.

We have forgotten the meaning of airdrops, for airdrops you don't have to do any tasks except the address that will be needed to receive coins while today's almost all airdrops require absurd amount of tasks.

Yes, there is a difference between airdrops and bounty. If you need to subscribe telegram channels etc, then it is called a bounty which you will get after doing some task. For Airdrop you just submit your address and that's all. Since the time required to participate in airdrop is very minimal, you can join in as many airdrops as possible. Even though many of them will be just waste of time but you never know a few might make you some dollars.

#SWGT PRE-SALE IS LIVE
I'm always been a victim of false airdrops and giveaways but lucky to have not fallen in scam giveaway, for me authentic giveaway has a crowdfunding going on where the platform and the project is very much legit and they are doing airdrop because they know there are still a big community who loves doing airdrops.

Don't join airdrop, means you are 100% safe from airdrop SCAM.

Really is there much benefits from airdrop lately? I know once a time there was good earning for bounty and airdrop hunters. But lately, there is no such as earning as far as I know. Why you have to sell your personal details just for 3/4 USD ? isn't very cheap? Find some other earning source rather than join airdrop. Especially find a job or business on real life then you will not have enough time for airdrop and you will not get scam.

However, this kind of suggestion has been discussed previously, nothing new here.

May be 99% or more! Payment from some Airdrop campaigns is also not meet market transaction fee. So its really worthless.

I accept as true with you they're now being proven to be 100% wrong  The token doesn't divulge the transaction fee  The wallet shows up but after coming to the exchanger I didn't catch on from the wallet. we should always work with the above information just in case those that invest also are affected.

This quote will reduce your credibility. When you talk that you will do the whole research and that I should not research, this means that I must trust you. It is the same principle that Scam Airdrop works & most of these scam projections.

Remember: No one offers the money for free, so if you find someone offering free Airdrop, make sure that you get the value "not just shitcoins" before (you waste your time) investing.

Unfortunately, most projects are useless and do not provide revolutionary ideas.

The topic above this statement is good. I thought youre advising newbies without any comparison on other paltform. It seems you inviting us to join in your platform for airdrops compared to t others who are just doing whats on the list. Anyway will look into it. But I'm not a fond anymore of airdrops maybe before, when I was just a newbie in cryptocurrency.

We have forgotten the meaning of airdrops, for airdrops you don't have to do any tasks except the address that will be needed to receive coins while today's almost all airdrops require absurd amount of tasks.

Not just tasks some are even requiring KYC which is totally off the hook. Imagine even, airdrops now have that method suited for investors. Very risky and too dangerous for everyone if you would be participating in these kind of airdrops. Much better, do bounty campaign that paid btc or be a trader.

Unfortunately, these suggesttions can't protect you from airdrop scams. Simply because almost all aidrops is scam. Even if they don't have none of these red flags, risk is still huge. And even if it's legit, I don't think it's worth to risk and waste your time for some peanuts. You barely can make something significant from airdrops. Better spend your precious time more productive.
I think 90% of Airdrops are scam. Also there are some giveaway thread. So it is worthless to join an airdrops I think.
Just 90%? Isn't it's 99%?

just an addition to me
1. Even if there is a website, make sure there is a whitepaper and about the team that handles the project
2. Never send funds, whether it's BTC / eth, in order to get the token

besides all that is on your topic of discussion

Quite a long post just to advertise your "Airdrop listing website", keep your service offer to the service section, if there is one thing beginners don't need, it's to start chasing after airdrops that will profit them nothing.
Establishments and governments have started to come down hard on ICOs, and it has created an environment where airdrops flourish.
This is not true.

Let me share some more things to look out for:

1. Other than asking for donations, some airdrops would trick hunters into submitting their private keys. An example of that is using the term "Public keys".
2. You know an airdrop is fake when they asked hunters to sign up using their referral links. I remember some erc20 tokens that were merely created for Binance and Kucoin referrals. Not that it matters but some of them were never minted and distributed.

Establishments and governments have started to come down hard on ICOs, and it has created an environment where airdrops flourish. Airdrops provide a great way for new crypto projects to gain traction, and for interested parties to gain coins. But unfortunately, this symbiotic relationship has attracted a few parasites…

What’s the Point of a Fake Airdrop Anyway?

That’s a good question! The creation of a fake airdrop could benefit the creator in many ways. The creator could gain access to your sensitive information and use it in a sinister way, or simply gain free advertising for their project with zero intention of ever rewarding you for your hard work.

Things to Look Out For

When signing up to take part in airdrops, there are a few things to look out for to ensure you’re not being scammed. These include:

- Well known coins – scammers play on newcomers’ nativity by advertising an airdrop of a coin that you may have heard of before. Chances are that famous coins don’t need your help when it comes to marketing.

- Grammatical errors – We hate to be the grammar police, but all legitimate airdrops should put their content through grammar and spell checks before releasing it to the public. Spelling errors should set off alarm bells in your head.

- Don’t donate – While airdrops may ask you to do menial, social media orientated tasks for them, legitimate airdrops should never outright ask for donations. If they do, be afraid.

- Big promises – be wary of big promises of massive rewards. No authentic airdrop can afford to pay users large amounts for the minimal tasks that they do. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

- No website – If the project you’re thinking of becoming involved in only works with Google forms and social media accounts, you may want to rethink this decision.

Remember that your gut instinct is usually right! If something feels off, it may pay to do some more research into the project before getting involved.

Only Use Trusted Directories

One of the easiest ways to avoid scams is to ensure that you are only finding airdrops through trusted directories that have been around for enough time to garner great reviews!
