If you want alts to be fully independent of BTC, then you have to hope that either BTC fails to grow or those alts fundamentals are strong enough so they don't get blasted from BTC volatility. As of now, the utility of those tokens is quite limited, and most of the time, the hype is the one that pushes the price. In such a scenario, it's hard to be independent of BTC and other big marketcap cryptos.

Dear crypto friends, I believe that blockchains and cryptocurrencies other than BTC are now ripe to lose liquidity when BTC loses it, especially when the collapse is psychological. (Elon musk in this case)

Can we become promoters of the maturity of altcoins in digital and real life? Btc is an excellent reserve asset and deserves growth for this reason altcoins deserve growth for their projects and their use. I do not accept a loss of liquidity in the altcoins for a psychological dump of btc. How can we solve this problem?

What do you mean by promoting the maturity of altcoins? Are altcoins really mature?
No,we can't promote anything and we can't change the way crypto traders are viewing Bitcoin and altcoins.
It doesn't matter what you accept or not.
What's happening in the crypto markets right now is not a loss of liquidity. It's just panic selling.
Altcoins aren't more mature than Bitcoin. They are just an addition to BTC.When Bitcoin drops, altcoins drop as well.Maybe after a few years, some of the legit altcoins like ethereum will lose their correlation to Bitcoin, but this has to be a natural process.

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
Was there a loss of liquidity or was there an arbitrage opportunity?

A loss of liquidity implies you're unable to place an order at market without it getting filled or some slippage imo? Did you experience either of these?

The reason I mention arbitrage also is that people will be comparing methods of moving btc to usd via another pair to see if it's cheaper to go that way. In this case, due to both bitcoin and the dollar being liquid.

Alts are their own thing, if people were confident buying eth and maintaining its price while btc fell, it would've happened.
