many are using it illegaly, I heard in the news that it is used in buying illegal drugs. They didn't use cash but bitcoin in their transactions.
Typical stuff they would say on news to get your attention and pit Bitcoin in the bad light.

As for topic, you can use BTC ATM for example and get cash to buy things. Its not really whitin the boundaries of law but if you don't buy a new expensive car I really doubt anyone would notice really.

Sell them to local guy near you for hand cash on face to face deal or through localbitcoins. Many are doing this and for cash deals you don't have to get your localbitcoins account verified.

But it is true that you might have to be really lucky to get interested bitcoin buyer in your neighborhood.

If you want to do it lawfully, no, it will not be completely anonymous. The moment you change it into fiat, they will have your credentials. The only way I can think of is that you find a group of people who are willing to buy it, and you meetup and exchange it for cash.

Not completely anonymous in the sense that you are not sitting behind the screen, unknown to everyone. Like what he said^, just spend it online for completely anonymity. Smiley Even if you try to buy items with Bitcoin to resell, you may be questioned on how you got the goods and so.

I don't think there is a way passed paying taxes if you're willing to change it into fiat. It is also not worth getting in trouble over, I think you're better off 'losing' some money to taxes than losing everything to justice. If you really want to take advantage of the low rates of bitcointransactions then just look for things you can buy online (trips, kitchen/backpackin/sports etc equipement, pizza delivery etc) with bitcoin.

Lets say i have a stocked up bitcoins in an anonymous wallet (hope, one day!). How do i spend it in fiat without having to expose them to EMI's or banks that are all applying today with AEOI and report a file with name and balance to the account holder's tax authorities?

advcash, mistertango all of them are licenced and must report.

Of course one option is to go dark, but then risk prison, not just fines...

Any ideas?
