also after you hit the stay logged in button make sure you have cookies enabled and that they do not delete upon browser exit
Also, cookies are invalidated across all your devices when you log out of one of your devices. To prevent it, you can just clear the specific cookie for bitcointalk on the device that you want to log out of.

I know there's a way to do it, as I once did it with an old account.

I've just looked through the settings loads of times under "PROFILE" for a way to set the length of time I stay logged in, and can't find it.

to help you clearly understand how to Smiley

cheers!

you can select how long you will stay logged in when you are entering your username and password.
just log out, switch to "forever", and log in again

I think he is asking about total time logged in count.

Pretty sure he's not asking that.

You can tick the box to stay logged in when you sign in, but make sure your browser remembers your details when you log in too.

Can be. Wink - I also once wanted to know this, because I was surprised to see the 'hall of fame' and wondered how they managed to do that! Smiley

I don't why anyone would be interested about that.. but okay  Tongue

I feel the same but you can see a lot of users concern about their total time logged in. As you can see in stats section most of the users use auto-refresher to boost their logged in time.

Post your Total time logged into Bitcointalk

Use auto refresh for every 10 minutes, you'll be OK. I think forum logged-in timer cut down in 15th minute.
