I like E4ward for temporarily email addresses:
http://e4ward.com/

Unfortunately, I neglected to use one of these for my MtGox registration. That's what spam filters are for, I guess.

I usually use the disposable addresses thing in Yahoo!, but Mt Gox was one of the few sites I put my main e-mail into. I might have to try the GMail method if the spam keeps coming. Thanks for all the advice!

You could forward all your email to a Gmail account and let it sort out the ham from the spam. But once your email was harvested, there's no going back unfortunately...

I was on the Mt Gox e-mail list thing, and now I'm receiving spam to my main e-mail address. Any way to stop this?

The only safe thing to do, is generate a new email address for each time you give out your email address.

Various email systems use different ways of doing this, but in general you if your regular email address is

[email protected]

then use

[email protected]

(some systems use -)

Once you start receiving spam, then at least you know who leaked your address. If you get fed up, just forward
all incoming email to that address to /dev/null.
