What country do you live in? All nightclubs have soundproofing, and regarding the terraces - if someone lives upstairs, the music there will never be loud. On the terraces, people socialize and don’t “hang out.”

And yes, bars also have soundproofing.

Soundproofing is the most effective method of reducing noice at indoor buildings being it a music studio, bar, lounge or even a residential house. But it won't work for outdoor buildings or places where the entire place is outdoor. You can't trap the noice there hence the reason why government regulations also need to be effective so that there's a limit to which a place within the neighborhood can cause noise pollution, so that people won't be affected by the disturbances caused by the culprit. This is mostly the case for my country that's why cars honk anyhow they like and public open spaces end up causing noise distractions and pollution.

People don't know that diseases such as increased heart rate or blood pressure can be triggered by noise stress. Some individuals also suffer insomnia because they cannot sleep where there is excess noise while for some it even end up as fatigue due to difficulties in falling asleep. I personally become easily stressed out and irritated the moment I get exposed to excessive noise distractions and it immediately disrupts my level of concentration to work or learning.

In most severe conditions, noise pollution can result in cardiovascular issues like stroke or hypertension, hearing loss where it causes damages in the eardrums. One aspect many people do not consider is the effects on children, you will come across parents who irresponsibly engage in house parties virtually every weekends allowing the kids exposure to loud speakers all the time. This practice can end up in negatively impacting on the child's academic performance or language development.

For us to deal with noise pollution, we have to first take time in identifying the products and cause to that noise pollution and work towards them, this will also need the help of the government in making law and friendly policies that curbs and also serves as an alternatives to how the people can deal and manage the occasion of noise pollution, i see this a global challenge and each region should be held responsible for the management.

Noise pollution is a common thing in our country, nowadays most of the countries have this problem. To eliminate this problem we have to take responsibility ourselves, everything can't be left to the government, take responsibility yourself. besides noise pollution is caused by the cars on the road. for this the traffic laws should be made more strict, so that people Can't blow the horn for no reason.
While it is beneficial for individuals to take responsibility for reducing noise pollution, you know it may not be easy and may not be effective because many people don't practice it, and noise pollution continues to increase. Therefore, if the government were to enact a law against noise, establishing a maximum permissible sound level, similar to laws in some countries, it could be effective.

In those countries, exceeding the noise limit results in punishment. If such a law were strictly enforced, with punishment for defaulters, perhaps people would take notice. Those who host loud parties or drive noisy vehicles would adjust their behavior. As a result, noise pollution might decrease.

Without government intervention, noise reduction will be almost impossible because it all depends on people's awareness, and I don't think people will have a common sense about this issue. If people were conscious and knew that making noise would disturb those around them, we would not have to suffer from increasingly serious noise pollution.

On this issue, I am in favor of government intervention instead of us solving it ourselves but we cannot complain if the government does not solve it. Because the government doesn't have enough resources and they need to prioritize more pressing issues, so we have to find our own solutions to stop the noise around us.

Noise pollution has been a major concern to the society. A lot of people feels it’s okay to disturb the peace and serenity of some people while it shouldn’t be. Africans has the highest habit of cause noise anywhere they are. If an individual want to listen to anything he should do so by not creating a bad omen to the person or persons who want to enjoy it quite environment. The better should better use earplug or other devices.

A common problem in many countries is noise pollution. Noise pollution comes in many forms, such as car horns, loud music playing, naughty boys shouting and many other sources of noise pollution. Noise pollution has several harmful effects - excessive noise or noise pollution enough to disturb your sleep or work. Noise pollution is a legal offense in many developed countries and everyone obeys the law. But there are many countries where noise pollution laws are not obeyed by the general public and law enforcement agencies do not care.
What steps will you take against noise pollution as a good citizen of the country?
What I can do to prevent this problem as a citizen:

1.  We will make people aware of the harmful effects of noise pollution and try to inform people through local community groups, schools or social media discussions about how noise pollution causes harm.

2.  Taking action against those who do not obey the law despite laws against noise pollution so that others obey the law out of fear.

3.  Local authorities and security personnel should be proactive in this regard and treat noise pollution as a crime so that citizens come and obey the law.

4.  Organize protests or awareness seminars on noise pollution and appeal to the local administration to take effective measures in this regard.

   5.  Better urban planning is necessary as keeping industrial and residential areas separate will help reduce noise pollution significantly.

  6.  Natural elements such as tree planting and water bodies help cities reduce noise pollution.  I will encourage local authorities in these projects.

If we do not take proactive steps in this regard, it is possible to create a peaceful and healthy environment for the entire society

Noise pollution is very annoying for all people but it is not possible to eliminate it easily. Even if the government wants to it will not be able to prevent easily. The automobile revolution has become a major source of environmental or noise pollution in urban areas. Nowadays traffic congestion is increasing due to increase in the number of vehicles like buses trains and trucks. Due to traffic jams, excessive use of horns, resulting in unbearable noise is damaging the ears of everyone young and old and has a bad effect on the brain.
One of the biggest and most alarming problems at the very present time is noise pollution which permeates our daily life. However if the government wants to play an effective role in reducing the level of noise pollution it can reduce noise pollution by creating public awareness among the people. So at the personal level we also have to be aware and refrain from blowing the horn unnecessarily and refrain from doing any work that causes noise pollution.

Noise pollution could be irritating because it distort many of human activities and there is nothing we can do to an extent in stopping this than to make sure we also do not contribute to all human activities that constitute what causes noise pollution, also, government through its agencies have to make rules and regulations concerning some of the activities that causes noise pollution in the environment we live in, have a plan towards that and enable a separate environment for things that causes noise pollution away from human habitat

With the continuous growth in population the around world, Noise pollution should be considered  a major concern In our environments and society. Noise pollution poses health challenge if not averted e.g( headache, deafness, fatigue etc) noise can interrupt us from studying, making speech and disrupt our sleeping moments. These factors contributing to noise pollution have been seen or taken for granted, although it can not be stopped totally but it can be reduced and controlled  by government. Government who suppose to play primary role in reducing noise pollution but are major contributors to noise pollution Airport, industry motor parks etc.

Government can play important role in our society to reduce these common factors causing noise pollution. Airport, industries, motor parks, factories  etc should be situated far away from residential environment,  parties, music and other noisy activities should be controlled with regulatory orders that defaulted individuals will face penalties this will help adjust or reduce noise to an extent in our environments.

Today sound pollution is a serious environmental and social problem. Sound pollution has serious harmful effects on our bodies and minds in the long term. The most harmful effect of sound pollution is on our children whose mental development is hampered. So prevention of sound pollution is very important.
Sound pollution such as loud box playing and use of vehicle horns were unnecessary Various kinds of whistling, making loud noises, etc. In order to prevent noise pollution, first of all, you have to be aware of yourself and as far as possible on your part make everyone aware in society and wherever you can go and organize public awareness programs on the part of the government And to explain how serious noise pollution is and how harmful it is to the state in the future. And using as many technologies as possible to prevent sound pollution.

Noise pollution is more common in less developed countries.  Among all the countries, my country is one of them, I think my country has the most noise pollution. If I mention my country here, then of course I am talking about Bangladesh. It is very difficult to prevent noise pollution in my country because even if you make strict laws in this country you cannot prevent noise pollution because the population of this country is very small there are about 200 million people living in this country. In all the developed countries where noise pollution can be prevented, the population rate is very low and every person is highly educated and civilized. Being a less developed country and having a high population rate, I don't see any good mechanism to prevent noise pollution from this country.

There is no way we can stop noise pollution and only if we can stop aeroplane from flying and stop the movement of cars and music.
There are many things that can cause pollution and we need to know that stopping such thing from use can stop our production processes.

We might not be able to stop the aeroplane from flying but we can regulate the sound of vehicles in our location. The government can make laws that mandate car owners to fix their cars to avoid noise and some cars that have become bad should be impounded to curb pollution. Another agent is noise pollution is loud noise from music promoters, bars, and clubs houses. Since noise pollution is not harmful, there is no need for us to know what we are doing and start looking for ways to end the pollution. I don't think that noise pollution is an important thing we needed to agitate on.

Noise pollution has many health consequences, it could lead to hearing problems, severe headaches, fatigue/stress, and high blood pressure, racing pulse and it could even lead to heart attack in extreme cases. Noise pollution could also lead to accidents because in some cases people might not be able to hear danger warnings because of noise in the environment.

Noise pollution mostly causes psychological imbalance. There are only two ways to control noise pollution.

1. Sound proof
Sound proof glasses and doors are great means of noise pollution control, nother is the use of sound proof generator or eco friendly generators over other types of power generators, this is an effect means of pollution control.

2. Implementing the laws about noise pollution
Enacted laws need to be implemented strictly to avoid noise pollution.

3. Most of the noise pollution's are from generators mostly in African countries, when there is an improved public power supply, it can eliminate 90% of the noise pollution's we face.

There are some area where noise is not allowed for the kind of people that is living in that particular area to allow some professors or politicians to reason well in a way they will have something meaningful to release to their followers in the society.

It will be difficult for government or citizens to fight noise pollution easily in the country because there are some places you will go to and the noise is a noise of transaction of how to make profits for the exchange of goods and services but there are some are communicating to their followers concerning the region activities.

We have different kind of noise. Some are just noise from normal conversation. This is still normal. But imagine playing a music to the highest volume, this is an example of what we are talking about here. I don't see this as a difficult thing if the government want to stop it. Noise isn't good for our health. If the government should make a law against it and  implement it. I believe people will abide by it as well.

even in our country there is no such thing as noise pollution lol. but usually if there is noise we report it to the local leader, and this leader will come to him to stop the source of the sound or reduce it. but the majority in our culture have understood each other since ancient times and it has become a habit. If someone is sick, the local residents don't make any noise and let the sick rest. If a young person plays music when people are sleeping, he will usually turn down the sound of the music. if there are violators they will be ostracized from society so being ostracized by society has a more frightening effect than being punished lol. but I am grateful to live here where everyone understands each other, is polite and kind.

To overcome the increasingly troubling challenge of air pollution, an integrated and decisive approach is needed. one effective way is to increase law enforcement regarding noise pollution. The government needs to strengthen existing regulations and develop stricter policies to control activities that can cause noise pollution. Apart from that, it is necessary to increase public awareness through educational campaigns about the negative impacts of noise pollution on health and the environment. Sanctions for rule violators must also be tightened to provide a deterrent effect.

The government enforcement pattern could be introduced to deal with everything that has to do with noise pollution and that is if they themselves are not part of the constitutes to the very noise pollutions we are talking about, when we are not found guilty of the change we want to implement, it will be then very easy for us to achieve this as a success because we are being governed by authorities and must obey as their dictates states.

Every country in the world has adverse effects of noise pollution. Even the level of this noise pollution is increasing all over the world. Noise pollution is one of the causes of environmental pollution. Sudden loud noises, various loud noises cause mental and physical problems in people. So we can prevent noise pollution if we take some steps to prevent noise pollution.
As the world is becoming modern, the amount of noise pollution is increasing. It is not possible to completely prevent noise pollution in the world but we can take some steps to reduce noise pollution.

For example,
•Industrial noise should be controlled.
•Controlling the sound of vehicle horns. Vehicle horns can be one of the causes of noise pollution so we should refrain from honking loudly.
•Do not play loud microphones, radios or televisions.
•Avoid bursting firecrackers or crackers.
Noise levels will be pronounced in industrial areas. But we have to relocate the factories far away from the cities.

Many people play extra horn while driving, even though horn is prohibited in many places, many people disobey the rules. Of course we have to be personally aware, otherwise the level of noise pollution from car horns cannot be reduced.

If we play loud microphone, radio or television at home, if it is done regularly then we can face events like stoke, heart attack, especially it harms our own family members.

Just as noise pollution is caused by the loud sound of firecrackers, its smoke is one of the causes of environmental pollution. So in my opinion it should be banned completely.

Moreover if we discuss the harmful aspects of noise pollution among people then maybe people will be aware and then noise pollution can be prevented.
Government and people should come forward to reduce the trend of noise pollution.I think it cannot be reduced without a concerted effort.

The government can’t do more than putting an effective law that penalizes anyone who commits the offense. But if you think deeply on it, you’ll see that it’s going to be difficult because sound is really easy to produce. It could be playing loud music in the neighborhood or even yelling at someone. Just like other offense that people commit, it can be reduced because of the law but can’t be entirely stopped. Or maybe to stop it you gotta go deaf? Grin

Noise pollution in some countries is highly practiced, and can't be stopped easily.Especially,in Africa noise pollution is very common.Noise pollution affect a person's mental health. It causes lack of sleep, lack of concentration and stress. It's funny enough when people say they're used to loud noise,if only they know the effect they'll look for a way to stop it in their neighborhood.
So therefore, one way noise pollution can be stopped is factories should not be built in a neighborhood. It should be built in a quiet place far from a neighborhood to avoid noise pollution.

This may be very difficult to stop in some countries especially in Africa. I can't say it's illiteracy that make it to be more common because even the elite ones engage in such act. This is why noisy music sell faster in my country as people are after the beat not the content. This can only be reduced if the government make a law against it.

In area like music can easily be controlled use if generator to generate light could also be reduced because of may devices to generate light using solar is now available etc but in the aspect of industrial area there some mechanical machine that solar system can't power which noise course many side effects in the society mostly the oil drilling sector, like the one j witness in my area the mechanic noise have course many around the environment ear problem unrest and many other health issue.in area like this industrial where drilling is carry out the only control is to restrict occupants or carry out such in mind residential area.

Population is increasing in every country.  It is now very much out of our control. For this, various types of pollution are increasing, noise pollution is one of them.  People's lives are greatly endangered due to noise pollution.  To prevent this, the cooperation of the administration is very necessary.  For example, loud music should be banned in residential areas.  Ask them to refrain from unnecessary honking and take legal measures for disobeying them. Then people will speak up and noise pollution will reduce a lot.

In controlling noise pollution, all hands must be on deck. It should be a proper understanding by both the citizens and governments where as the laws have been set but citizens still breaks the law then it's not functioning. Controlling noise pollution will be very difficult in most countries due to often occasions like funerals and traditional practices..

Sound does bring people together in one event, actually there are many benefits of sound in everyday life to communicate, have fun, sign language, and more. because of freedom in a country there is no regulation (because it is in the wild / outside each person's home), so there is no compulsion to regulate the intensity of sound (if it is a performance event) The first bad effect is felt by invited guests even though it aims to enjoy together but if it is excessive of course there is a hearing effect when leaving the gathering, it is simple but each person has a reason because of entertainment needs and turns every day.

Also the honking on the road by vehicles, it is not to blame because it is a sign of danger depending on the size of the vehicle, if this is eliminated how much chaos occurs when miss communication at illegal crossings, because of the dense population and their activities so close to the highway, it is the duty of the local government to separate the productive and alternative routes. Sound is not entirely to blame because it depends on what the needs and mechanisms are, because the world would be so scary without sound. It's the same in my country, but I do my best to stay away from the bad effects of intentional sound instead of dwelling on it.

Noise pollution can adversely affect our lives. Noise pollution is caused by various reasons, the country with more population has more noise pollution. Due to noise pollution we can suffer from various diseases such as Various ailments including high blood pressure, anxiety, irritability, hearing loss.

You will see that in different countries, loud music is played during various cultural events in rural areas which is a major cause of noise pollution. There was a time in our society when people used to play loud music at weddings but now it has been stopped because of noise pollution.

noise pollution can't be stopped but can only be controlled. Depending on the country of your residence, stopping noise pollution isn't something you can just set out rules it would just work but their certain things that can help reduce the extent of noise pollution which include,

1. Setting out laws that prevent the playing of music above a certain decibel.
2. Banning cars with high exhaust gas from ridding on the road.
3. Encouraging industrial areas to be located far from home
4. Setting out laws to prevent public address systems from keeping their speakers outside

The solution to solving noise pollution pollution is kind of country related and how the citizens react to it differs, for my country for instance, it will take a long time before we will be able to come out of this noise pollution wahala

If we are being honest, there really is nothing i can do to reduce the total of noise pollution everywhere the best thing i could do is to not contribute to the noise pollution and try to convince others to do the same and for those who will not follow then might as well report them to the authorities so that they meet whatever consequences is waiting for them

In noise pollution i think that horn is bad because we often see that after waiting for a while or straining, the driver starts every time with a horn which is very unbearable. thing happens because what is in it, you may have patients, what you may have are old people and small children, who are in extreme pain when they hear this horn, so we are with one thing that is to be avoided.

If I have I, I will do everything possible to eliminate this noise pollution.

This can be achieved when existing laws against noise pollution are enforced.
But how can a law be enforced when the enforcers are the ones in the forefront of breaking these laws.

I believe you have got some small misunderstanding on what noise pollution is, to be honest. Noise pollution is not supposed to be fought by completely getting rid of all noise possible, what would not make sense, because there is no society organized enough to get rid of such thing.
Fighting noise pollution is about getting standards and adjust our society to them as much as possible so people who live close to each other won't get bothered by the noise made by neighbors or people in the streets.
Obviously, enforcing laws is an important part of reaching those objectives, even though I have got the impression there is way more people polluting than available law enforcement officers out there.

I think I understand very well what noise pollution is, hence my response to the OP who was asking how noise pollution can be stopped. I was only trying to educate the OP that noise pollution can not be eliminated, that is impossible to achieve, no technology can ever be used to achieve this.

What I am trying to explaing to you is that noise and noise pollution is not the same, one can get rid of noise pollution but one cannot easily get rid of noise in general.
You can call noise pollution when you are dealing when noise constantly, though your day and even through your night. There is when the pollution kicks in and can negatively affect your health and standard of living.
On the other hand, having a little bit of noise in the day because someone in your house slammed a door or someone is shouting at someone else is not pollution. It can be a bother but it won't negatively affect your health in the long term.

Another comparison would be between alcoholism and social drinking. Alcoholism is a problem which can damage your health very quickly while moderate consumption in social settings won't do the same to your health.

Well, I will disagree with on the difference between noise and noise pollution.
There's really no difference between noise and noise pollution
Noise is an unwanted, unpleasant sound that is uncomfortable for our well-being.
Any sound that is above 75Db is considered as harmful to human.

You're right, we may not be able to derive on achieving this, but there's a way we can reduce the rate and effects of noise pollution in the environment, first is to channel most of the noise pollutants items to be on a specific environment being isolated from where humans live, then try to build in more  devices that are noiseless I couldn't contribute to the effects of noise to the environment there can also be government enforcement laws that will go against noise pollution in the environment.
In my country, we have industrial areas where all business that pollutes the environment must be cited. With this policy, we would have less sound from big generators and machines. sadly this is not the case anymore because these laws are not followed anymore and most of these law breakers are top politicians. Environmentally friendly power sources are very expensive which is why most businesses or individuals cannot afford them. If the government could subsidies the prices of these noiseless power sources, more people would be able to afford them.

Sometimes I feel sorry for people who have health issues that require them to stay in a quiet environment. Most of them might end up having more complications. If I am opportune to have an online job, I will consider moving to a rural area where I will enjoy the natural sounds and not from mechanical sources.

(...)What steps will you take against noise pollution as a good citizen of the country?
I don't want to fight it and I don't really feel bothered by it. There are a number of things that I feel about the mind being affected by external factors, which are a type of thing that the majority are suffering from, but when it comes to consciousness, who does the mind belong to? Yep, it belongs to no one, not even you and me.

Whether we are sad, happy, angry, loving,... let's start unconditionally and eliminate things that are not beneficial to those around us. The way that I feel can be applied most practically is "meditation", yes all external sounds do not cause attention if you can apply that, and the benefits of "meditation" I see are very great many things in life.

If we are being honest, there really is nothing i can do to reduce the total of noise pollution everywhere the best thing i could do is to not contribute to the noise pollution and try to convince others to do the same and for those who will not follow then might as well report them to the authorities so that they meet whatever consequences is waiting for them

Apart from not contributing to noise in the environment yourself, the best ways to make others follow not to increase noise is that the government has to make sure that they make laws guiding noise and public nuisance. If people know that there is law against their actions then they will respect themselves and keep to the standard of the law.

For example there can be a designated place for gathering for party and not to be done in residential places to avoid noise in neighborhood and so if someone is found having party and playing loud music within prohibited places as neighbourhood then they have contravened that law and should be punished for going against the law. If penalties are levied against offenders then the commission of such offense would reduce. This is part of controlling noise pollution.
I which there could be some noise control laws in my country, because at the moment, my country of residence is rated to be one of the most noisy place around the world, because many of the citizen's don't sleep and for that it's round the clock activities and for sure there is no rest for residence and business alike, this pattern of lifestyle have lowered the mortality rate of many citicezens due to the negative resultant effects of this crisis.

And just as Gozie stated, the government have a high role to play in all of this, because the citizens will only follow guidelines and if that guidelines are not in place, it can effects the way the citizens conduct themselves along the line.

So sure government is the major actor in all of this, and anywhere there is noise pollution,it then means that the government either directly or indirectly engineer it

Yeah. Well, we can't always channel all of these noise pollutants away from human lives because humans are the ones producing these pollutants in the first place.
I agree with you on trying to reduce the effect, maybe by providing a low noise producing equipment.

We are actually the cause of these noise pollutions through our human daily activities that we engage doing, but when there's a law that restricts these human activities, people will be directed towards going by a specific rules and regulations that confined all noise pollutions in the same environment, while the overall assessment will be made globally on lives, if there's always a problem, then it solution lies somewhere.

In those days noise pollution was very hard to control and mostly in the third world Nations but it was still minimal in the developed countries. In Africa the leaders are not good in controlling noise pollution. Someone would on generator for 24/7 hours of the day to disturb the neighborhood. Some neighbors would even used home theater to play music to disturb his neighborhood yet nobody can say anything.

Therefore I believe the only way to stop pollution in any country is to enact a policy that will regulate the activities of him concerning noise in the society and also the use of the new technology. Like, let come to the area of generator, generator should be eliminated from the world automatically and replace it with solar and make solar system very cheap for everyone to acquire and electric cars can reduce noise pollution in the world.

As individuals I didn't think that there's much that we can do about the noise pollution of others, we can only control our own noise in our own space, so I think that it's the sole duty of governments to have laws that'll criminalize it. The only effort to cub noise pollution in my country that I've seen is in the so much noise with big speaker that religious houses makes during their services, it has drastically reduced. But car horns, sales people's speakers and the rest are annoyingly still there.

About noisy pollution from generators for electric power supply with the dangerous smoke that emits from their exhaust pipes, this a nightmare for people who don't have constant power supply in their country, and the governments keeps giving false promises of constant power supply. People are just suffering and enduring.

With this kind of noise it's best to report such person for safety reasons. The work of those officers, they're met to take actions and make things right so if you find such people that always love to create unpleasant noise it's best reporting them to the law officer, but whereby you want to whole world to stop noise pollution it's impossible.

Generally, noise refers to unpleasant sounds. Any sound that is unpleasant to the ears are classified as noise.
I agree with you, noise can not be eliminated as long as there are human activities in that locality.
Besides, Most of human inventions that we enjoy today produce noise pollution, example: cars, airplane, factories, etc.

The issue of noise pollution is common in Africa where the laws are somehow silent on the issue of noise. It is in their culture to hold loud parties and religious gatherings where people yell at the top of their voices in jubilation. The louder the noise, the merrier the party. The industrial areas are not also left behind as the laws regulating noise pollution is silent.

I never imagined that other countries have the same problem as me and they also managed to post this question. Until now, I never knew it was called noise pollution. Some people just don't have any respect for their neighbors

The lack of regards for neighbours is one major cause of noise pollution.  If one really respects his neighbours,  why will he play loud music or carryout industrial productions close to his neighbour who might be displeased with the unpleasant sounds?

The only solution to help reduce this issue is for the government of the country to intensify a war against noise pollution campaign. All security agencies in charge of maintaining healthy living (which includes noise pollution) should be up and doing. All defaulters should be sanctioned accordingly. By doing this, the people would be forced to limit the level of noise they generate.

I think you can not stop noise pollution, but you can reduce it. There are many ways to control noise pollution like regular maintenance of machines and appliances and fine loud noises. Using earphones can help you reduce noise pollution at an individual level.

The country I am living in does not consider noise as pollution  Cheesy The concept is that if it's not noisy, it is not probably interesting.

Some people just don't have any respect for their neighbors and the very cause of this problem is drugs and lack of manners and that's because of their parents not taking responsibility well to raise their children and they grow up like that. When you are raising a child you need not only to provide for him but also to guide him not to be with the wrong companies because it will gonna affect him badly in a really worse way no matter how good a provider you are. That's why, we need to assist them and also not be afraid to discipline them whenever they cross the line because that's for their own good. As for me, I'm praying and looking for a way to get out of this place because the people and the neighbors are too much to handle because they simply lack etiquette of neighbor's rights.

This is the community that i Grow with because our old community is truly something like what can be called squatter so I can bare with noise pollution in any way .

but have you tackled this with your own community? sorry but you did  not mentioned the story behind this because this is truly depending on how your location and lifestyle is.

If you are living in a very crowded place then the best way you can stop this kind of pollution is to go to other cities , live in different place than staying in that polluted community .

The question here is that can noise pollution be stopped? Not at all. The only way we can reduce noise pollution is by stopping the cause of the pollution. Pollution is something that we can not stop unless we want to stop the production processes.
Just like plane flying causing pollution in the atmosphere. The factory machines and engines causes pollution and how can we stop that? No way unless we would have to stop the operation of heavy machineries.

First, we have to understand that some places are reserved for structured noise like market place. So if you are living within this area, you have to bear it in mind that noise will be a natural occurrence there in the market and complaining against the noise in such area is not worth it. So apart from that, to solve the problems associated with noise is majorly to reduce the number of people in that area or strong warning about the use of musical instrument, no partying or climbing etc.

in my country what we consider as a pollution is all this industrial pollution and vehicle pollution other things then we does not consider then as a pollution because we have mastered them and secondly we don't have legal activities that restricts people from not making noise in my country have travel across different regions and there is no regulation of noise.

I don't know if any other country like let's pollution or have a rules and  regulation that control my own nation where I do see most of things concerns the noise pollution control is true movies is when I do see a such regulations all the restrictions of Environmental Hazard caused by noise pollution through the industrial procession companies

The most effective method I've found to reducing noise pollution is brining her some flowers, or candy.  An occasional glass of wine might be necessary.
It is very difficult to say what the method you mentioned is. I think this method will increase the noise pollution.

I sleep with earplugs on and top of that i keep my noise cancelling headphones. I don't listen to brown / white noise at all as that makes my tinnitus worse. But i might listen to 10 hours of sound of raining with a black screen from youtube. But that's just for protecting me.

And what i do for reducing noise from my apartment? I don't play music from loud speakers, i am silent after 11pm as walls in here aren't that thick. I don't use washing machine or loud machinery of any kind after 11om but i go to shower and live my life otherwise normally. I don't speak loudly or yell, or listen to music or watch videos from a phone speaker while on public transit and i don't get the people who do. I don't party in my house, but i party where ever it's allowed. That's enough for me imho.
Well done! You carry the identity of a good citizen. As a good citizen, your responsibility is not only to pay the country's taxes or follow the country's few rules and regulations. Good citizens are those who are aware of the country as well as its neighbors and think about their advantages and disadvantages.

It will be very difficult to stop noise pollution in my because due to some reasons. One of the major sources of noise pollution is generators. It cannot be controlled because there is no constant power supply. Many businesses and households depend on these diesel and PMS-powered generators for electric power. Many people cannot afford other less noisy sources of power such as solar. My country is also a religious one and some churches and mosques don't care about the sound they create in the society. They usually have large speakers that create loud sounds that are sometimes very offensive. However, the government is scared of making policies to control these religious institutions for fear of losing support during elections.

Some of the ways to curb this noise pollution are to make laws that control noise and enact sanctions for offenders. This law should be enforced without fear of tribe or religion. The government should also improve power supply or provide subsidized alternative power sources.

Actually, i think noise pollution can't be stopped totally but it can be reduced. Only if the country government it's not part of it  because in so many countries government officials(vehicle horns, sirens, Ambulance etc.)and government owned industries, airports, parks etc are major causes of these pollution.
Government can place regulatory orders on unwaranted noises in our environments and enforcement agency acting on defaulters of the order. I think with that it will go a long way by reducing noise pollution in our environments

In our local community , there is a certain fine for those who messes with so much loud noise specially in night time , though there are some who still violate in the early time yet if you reported them to the proper authority ? for sure they will come and acted according to what is necessary .
have reported several times and indeed that those stopped being noisy and yeah our village is noise free most of the time.

Noise pollution can't be eradicated completely but there are measures with which someone or the society can take in other to control the rate of noise pollution within our environment and some of those measures includes:
1: people should be able to control musical instruments and it shouldn't be played for a long interval of time.

2: power generating equipments like generators should be made sound proof such that it will reduce the noise coming out from it's engine.

3: the government should regulate the rate at which individuals or industries create noise to the environment and defaulters should be penalized.

It is important for us to know that noise contributes to some health challenges like head ache, restlessness and increased in the body temperature and can cause mental challenges so looking out for measures to reduce noise pollution in our environment will also reduce the rate at which people face these health challenges.

Like, let come to the area of generator, generator should be eliminated from the world automatically and replace it with solar and make solar system very cheap for everyone to acquire and electric cars can reduce noise pollution in the world.

Saying generators should be eradicated isn't a good idea because not every one can afford solar systems and moreover, their are countries that have average low weather temperature so how can solar panels help those countries when there is no sun to generate energy to power those solar systems? Instead they should produce more of sound proof generators.

I live in a country where people are not aware of noise pollution air pollution natural environment pollution even though there are laws about it.  The education rate of my country is around 60 to 70 percent.  Although, in the education of my country, the bad aspects of air pollution, noise pollution, environmental pollution and their remedies have been highlighted, yet the people of my country are unaware.  Taking only legal measures will not be effective to correct their ignorance.

In my opinion, a group of youngsters should be appointed from all over the country who will deliver a leaflet to each house every day about noise pollution, environmental pollution, air pollution.  In this way, people can be somewhat aware.  Which may be more effective than a strict legal system.

It takes some time to feel all the pollutants that are natural. But noise pollution directly affects our ears, heart and brain. Constant honking of horns, revving of engines, screeching of brakes and loud talking of people passing by. It seems we are not immune to the noise around us. Noise pollution not only affects our physical health, it also affects our mental well-being. This can lead to stress, anxiety and even hearing loss over time. It is high time we address this issue and take steps to reduce noise pollution in our cities. The government needs better urban planning, stricter regulations on noise levels and more awareness about the harmful effects of noise pollution. No matter what kind of rules the government provides regarding noise pollution, it is not possible to reduce noise pollution unless we all make individual efforts.

I’d start by trying to identify the main sources of noise such as traffic, appliances, or neighbours & try to address them directly. Install soundproofing materials like curtains, rugs or acoustic panels to absorb or block noise. Use weatherstripping to seal doors & windows to minimise exterior noise. You could try using white noise machines or fans to mask unwanted sounds. Talk with neighbours about noise concerns & try to find a compromise. Create a peaceful environment by incorporating elements like indoor plants, soft lighting & calming music to promote relaxation.

It is not possible to completely stop noise pollution, because if noise pollution is stopped, work will be disrupted. Whenever you are willing to stop noise pollution your future will be bleak. If you especially want to turn off mechanical sounds such as engine sounds, car horns, your office will be closed. And if you want to turn off your food-making machine sounds, you'll have to go without food. So noise pollution cannot be completely stopped.

For an environment to be extremely quiet this can only depend on the government, one thing about the society,  the society respect and obeys law alot. In develop countries where noise pollution is being regulated this is possible because their is a law which people must obey. If their is no law that is regulating law pollution the people in the environment can do things just like the way they feel. They can set up a club which the noise of music can affect other people in the environment and people can set up industries without approval of anybody.

Ill start to tackle noise by spreading the word about its effects and asking folks to be mindful of noise rules. Support using soundproofing in buildings, push for more green spaces, and organize events with an eye on reducing noise impact. Encourage quieter technologies, chat with neighbors about noise issues, and work together for a quieter and happier neighborhood vibe. Small actions can make a big difference!

If we are being honest, there really is nothing i can do to reduce the total of noise pollution everywhere the best thing i could do is to not contribute to the noise pollution and try to convince others to do the same and for those who will not follow then might as well report them to the authorities so that they meet whatever consequences is waiting for them

Simply see noise as unwanted sound that creates problems, and you'll probably know how to solve it.

We all have boundaries that must not be crossed unnecessarily, whether via making noise or other means. But some people are ok listening to sounds from friends, family members, neighbors etc while others are not, what is important is to identify unpleasant sounds that create problems for people and eliminate/reduce them. But if a society is filled with fools who don't care about the bad effects of noise they generate have on others, you could get yourself ear plugs, download app that generate WhiteNoise to help reduce or cancel all the background noise or outrightly move away from such people to a peaceful place.

It's important to note that bad sound or noise could be considered an absence of peace. It can create disturbances or choas in a quiet environment which makes it an opposite of peace. Responsible people deserve peaceful and quiet environments.

Actually, I am from of those countries where people do not care about laws regarding noise pollution at all. It is common here for people to blast their car speakers at dusk with whatever music they like the most.
It can be very annoying for anyone who just wishes to sleep and rest before going to work.
In my personal point of view, the best way to handle with this issue is simply enforcing the law which treats the problem. It would be necessary to give police officers handheld Equipments for them to measure decibels when they are called to a certain place with complaints about loud noise. If the noise was indeed out of the legal limit then it would be just about issuing a fine against the infractor.

Since I am sure my government is not willing to do any investment on this matter, I know we will have to continue to deal with this kind of pollution form a very long time, until there is a change of administration.

The most effective method I've found to reducing noise pollution is brining her some flowers, or candy.  An occasional glass of wine might be necessary.

Funny.

What steps will you take against noise pollution as a good citizen of the country?
The simplest and that's to start with myself not to contribute with the noise pollution. Since I don't really play a loud noise for music and mp3 players, I guess that's already one for me. I don't like loud noise, it annoys me. Maybe this happens when you're growing older or it's not just me even when I was young, I don't feel loud noise and I don't understand what these people are up when they play such loud music. Like my ear can't take loud noise or these people have a huge tolerance to decibels from their ears.

I've seen some places where people keep on humping the horn of their cars as if it's just typical for them to beep beep every second of their lives. That's one big problem and I don't think that I'll ever survive on that place if ever I encounter those noise honking that are happening at all times. I've watched videos like it's a typical thing for those people to just honk even if there's no traffic as if it's already part of their lives and they're not going to live if they've missed a few minutes of not honking their horns.
