Overthinking is very bad for our mental health.  As a result of overthinking, we cannot concentrate on any task.  As a result, we face many problems.  In my opinion more sleep is needed to reduce overthinking.  As well as gym korte hobe.  You can also do yoga.

I truly don't think that you can easily stop overthinking, you can but it will be the hard way, to stop it you should be able to fix your life problems faster than the normal persons, and in order to do that you have to be very strong mentally.

Yeah. There are a lot of things we have to go through in life. Focus on the now, set doable goals and throw in some mindfulness. Break tasks into small steps, kick irrational thoughts to the curb and do things that make you happy.  Smiley

It can't be stopped.

When we grow older, having more responsibilities and obligations. It's part of growing old. Those that don't have much and can't easily deal with all of those problems that you're overthinking about needs some things to do.

Do what you are comfortable with as a stress reliever. Most people does their own thing to relieve the stress from overthinking. Some are finding it with their comfort foods and drinks.

Maybe there are several methods that I usually use to eliminate overthinking that you can try.
1. Divert attention from thoughts.
Maybe you can distract your mind for a moment, with something else or by doing an activity that you enjoy.
2. Challenge those negative thoughts.
When you find yourself thinking too much, challenge those thoughts. ask yourself if this is appropriate/realistic.
3. Practice interpersonal skills.
by increasing self-awareness, increasing self-confidence, and practicing self-control.
4. meditation.
The goal is not to clear your mind, but rather to focus on something and practice shifting your focus whenever your mind wanders. With practice, you will find it easier to stop overthinking before it becomes a more serious problem.
try meditating for 10 minutes to stop excessive thoughts and worries.
5. Practice self-acceptance.
One of them is practicing gratitude and thinking about aspects of yourself that you value, and being able to forgive yourself for things you regret.

I have this when i am still an active gambler that made me thinking to how much i will lose and how much my family needs that surely I will never shoulder but eventually as i learn to leave gambling?
now I all do is talk to my wife , listen to her advises and even followed what she told me to do because she is my savior and my trusted one.
maybe you need to have someone beside you that can be trusting even with your life so onerthinking will gone and confidence will cover,

First you must understand what is the issue you are overthinking and search for people that might help you with that or at least has an experienced about that same problem and from that there will be an answer and how you can get out of those thinking.

mostly it is from our problems and issues in life that we are not putting actions , instead we are keeping seeking about the solution but we cannot make it in reality.

and also , try not to think about things that will not directly impact your life , just face those what you need to prioritize .

Over thinking brings disease, I used to get gerd, because of the condition that is difficult to accept loss and activity restrictions. You can see how many people are affected by anxiety in various cities, I experienced how bad the condition is.

Peace of mind because the mind will respond to big things will happen or vice versa, I mean if doing positive things is not necessarily that heavy and difficult, mental loads and random thoughts make it difficult for humans to start from which point to adjust.

Over thinking is also beneficial if it is for negative things, as complicated and as big as what future effects will occur if you do it with examples around you, it will certainly make you think better before acting as a small example of an attitude.

The heart cannot lie, if the mind justifies but the heart resists this is what makes doubt and do further thinking, for me to detect as little as possible the mind accepts, and over thinking can be minimized.

Because thinking is such an important gift, such an excellent function for humans that reflexes perform their function well, we are grateful.

U just need to stop caring and become cold, bcz overthinking won't get u nowhere.Instead of dwelling on past mistakes, focus on what you've learned from them.Set realistic expectations for yourself. And remember, breaking the habit of overthinking takes time and practice.Good luck!

Now days it's common problem of overthinking. Mainly the young age suffer a lot from overthinking because they have pressure from family and pressure to do something in life. That's create lot of overthinking. Over thinking creat a lot of problem people can't seep good at night for over thinking. It's hard to stop overthinking. But if you suffer a lot for overthinking take sleeping pills and take nap.

It is important to understand that no matter how you think concerning a problem it won't solve the problem, the best thing is to think of solution how to solve the problem.  Thinking changes nothing, If gets to understand this they won't allow thinking to be a burden to them. It is better to think to solve things and get out from problem thinking thinking and still remain bitter without any solution.

The best way for me to stop overthinking about anything is to try to analyze all the information that is being given to me.  Keep in mind, not putting too much energy into making a decision that is not very important.
If you over think about something that does not bring any type of value or worth to your life than simply move on. If you get a bad feeling and your brain is even trying to reason with you, chances are that you are right and should not move forward.
Overthinking can be good and bad depending on how you look at it.

Put yourself out of the box and make some space on your zone. Do things that makes you feel better and energize you as you forget that fact cause you to think over, like trrating yourself, make an adventure or go out with you buddies. This things helps a lot.

I just sit back and remember that life is meant to be enjoyed and that I don't need to stress every little thing.

Just remember, if something happens then it already happened. There's no point in stressing it. If you can fix it, then try to fix it. If you can't well then there's nothing you can do about it, just use it as a lesson for next time.

Nobody's perfect we all make mistakes, and learning from them is what makes us smarter and wiser!

Find space and time to clear your mind. Some people call that meditating. Silence is underrated. Focusing on your breathing will help you to stop thinking (thinking words anyway), having the patience to sit and be in silence is another thing altogether, takes practice.

I'm a over thinker person and once I over think I'll think of the worst, there is this one scenario when I over think then me and my bestfriend argue about it. Like I always tell him that I can't trust you because I can't see you, I can't see what's your doing for the whole day maybe your lying and I know that those things made me hurt him a lot Sad I know it's not right to overthink but I just can't avoid it. Because when I overthink strikes a person it will result argument.. So once overthinking strikes me I'll try to avoid to talk to that person and let myself cool down for a bit.

I personally say that I'm an over-thinker even my the ideas that comes in my mind I overthink whether that is beneficial or not for me. But What I did is i meditate and relax myself in that case it lessen my thinking. It is like refreshing your owns mind.

Your problem seems to be a lack of focus and its resulting compulsion. If you want to practice focus you can just try to pay attention to your breath and increase the duration of that exercise over time, or practice calculations or other short-term memory tasks in your head.

Write something you're thinking about
If only you think about it, the mind will become more numerous. So what's wrong with trying to write everything you have in your mind into a piece of paper. It will help you a lot and lighten the burden of your mind. By writing your problem or what step you will take, who knows you will find the solution or choice you will take. Writing your every thought before you sleep is probably a good idea. It can also make you sleep more soundly.

Just keep yourself busy. Work, work, work!!!

focus on solutions
Always point your mind to "way out", so the problem can be solved as precisely and immediately as possible. If you feel the problem can be controlled, then the next step is you should be able to prevent it from happening again.
Dare to take some options, just in case the first solution does not go as planned. You still have second and third planning.
Focus on things you can control, such as your attitude and effort.

The overthinking generally happends because one feels the need to analyse evertything that is happening and going to happen, yet nothing ever goes like imagined no matter how much you have thought it through..

Burying the problem for too long can make you an unproductive person, but this problem can be helped by doing a brief reflection.
Spend 20 minutes to "me time" in your daily schedule. During that period, let yourself dissolve into reflection or think about whatever you want.
When it's over, move somewhere else and do what makes your heart happy.

You cant.....with that in mind. Obsess over something positive. You will become addicted to it the same way you do to negative thoughts. Just be positive and happy about your artwork. You are good and getting better everyday.

I am often overthinking things aswell - I recommend trying to focus on what is happening right now. Start counting the things on your desk or concentrate on steady breathing, this often helps Smiley

Think just one issue at a time. Don't waste your time thinking on things you can't change. Trust God and trust His heart. Wait on Him. He's never early never late.

Watch movies and video clips that make you laugh. Stop from thinking too much before you sleep. Let your mind go blank and just close your eyes. Listen to good music. Eat food that will make you happy. You don't want to have wrinkles all around your face.

Stay positive. People don't want to be associated with pessimistic individual. Hope that helps.

To stop overthinking have something that will take your mind away from thinking. If you don't have a job then get a job, Have people that you can talk to, When you are alone keep your self busy with your cell phone or book. Just get busy.

I overthink all the time, and I notice no negative side effects from it other than not being able to fall asleep easily. Quite on the contrary, I'd say the net effect is overwhelmingly positive.

Your problem seems to be a lack of focus and its resulting compulsion. If you want to practice focus you can just try to pay attention to your breath and increase the duration of that exercise over time, or practice calculations or other short-term memory tasks in your head.

You cant.....with that in mind. Obsess over something positive. You will become addicted to it the same way you do to negative thoughts. Just be positive and happy about your artwork. You are good and getting better everyday.

Write your plan on a notepad or excel sheet. That way, all that's on your mind can be visualized for easy thinking and you won't have to spend too much time thinking over and over again.

I am often overthinking things aswell - I recommend trying to focus on what is happening right now. Start counting the things on your desk or concentrate on steady breathing, this often helps Smiley
