Use multibit or armory and encrypt your wallet.  Backup your encrypted wallet to paper or USB.
Actually armory has very nice features of offline backup too.

Don't use online wallets. They look very attractive , but one hack and all ur coins are gone. You can't even trace these people, they will disappear faster than usain bolt on drugs

I think he doesn't want to use system wallets as he fears the virus on his system, which might compromise the coins.
I think a Hardware wallet is actually a good option, otherwise just go with my initial suggestion of a paper wallet.

may i suggest you a good hardware wallet ? actually Trezor wallet is the best choice i think..  Wink  my referal link : https://buytrezor.com/  Thanx !  Wink

Trezor is not the best bet.

Read: Extracting the Private Key from a TREZOR ... with a 70 $ Oscilloscope

I still prefer paper wallet downloaded from blockchain.info.
yes , i have read that.. indeed.. overwise as you can see in the end of this doc , in the disclamer part :

I am not involved with Satoshi Labs or any of their competitors. I own two TREZORs myself and I am still thinking hardware wallets are the best way to protect against most attack vectors. Problems like this are to be expected in any new product and TREZOR is barely a year old now. It is more important that these things get fixed in a timely manner.

... so... that's the owner of this exploit how say it.. and since that, i have heard this problem was fixed by satoshilab .. Wink

BitGo support is horrible.

Submit a ticket, 24 hours gone and still no reply from them.

It looks they kill this project and let it go...

Hi ramkumar

I will suggest you to use bitgo multi sig personal wallet. I have used it personally and have only positive things about it.
If you find it too difficult send me pm or email at [email protected] and will be pleasure to help you with that.

In case you want to leave it very simple you can go with Armory paper wallet.

If you want to go with Hardware wallets, you can use Trezor, personally used it and its just awesome.

I guess, coinsecure has plans to sale trezors so pm Benson or contact coinsecure team if they are selling it or not.

Regards

You can always create an offline wallet in the form of a Paper wallet. Also, you could move it to a cold storage, where a computer is used to create a wallet, which has never been connected to the internet.
