new19980 there is no need in creating new topic about the same thing you asked, after you received answer here by me and link with confirmation Roll Eyes

Perhaps, but Trezor doesn't support the Liquid network as far as I know. He wouldn't be able to protect his liquid assets with the help of a Trezor. That leaves him with the only option of using hot wallets or purchase a Jade to get native HW support. Trezors can be used together with the Blockstream Green, but not for liquid assets. It would be a nice addition though.
No support for now in Trezor, but other wallets and devices can be used for this purpose.
He didn't ask for a long term storage and I wouldn't recommend doing that for any stable coins.

Better alternative for USDT on Binance chain is L-USDT on Liquid Network, it's much easier to swap to BTC and vice versa.

Hi guys
Is there any way to store USDT BEP-20 or TRC20 on trezor
If you already own Trezor hardware wallet make sure to update the last firmware and than install latest version of Trezor Suite app.
In latest Trezor Suite beta version 24.11.1 Trezor released new update with support for BNB Smart Chain, so you can install that or wait for main release to be published, probably in few days:
https://github.com/trezor/trezor-suite/releases/tag/v24.11.1

Note that you should NOT use any tokens on Binance chain that are claiming to be bitcoin.

As you can see in the video, Metmask first creates a normal account with a seed generated on your computer. Make sure that you don't use this account. It's not connected to your Trezor in any way. Deposit your USDT on the other account created and connected to your Trezor hardware wallet and don't mix them up. Use a passphrase for an extra layer of security if you are comfortable doing that.

for the video i think the seed phrase created before creating the trezor account so its probably on the computer though i dont
know about the passphrase

If you connect the Trezor wallet to Metamask, then the seed phrase for that account will be stored on the hardware wallet and not on your computer. You will have to authorize every outgoing transaction with Trezor hw. I think the passphrase is not stored anywhere and you will have to enter it every time you want to spend your coins because only the correct combination of seed phrase and passphrase will generate a valid private key. However, you can skip creating a passphrase and use your hardware wallet without it, which is less secure.

If you follow the video as a guide, then the trezor seedphrase is not going to be stored in your computer. It will remain in the physical device. This is the safest way to go by things.
so my wallet cant be drained even if my computer get compromised or if i did interract my mistake with a malicious smart contract right

That is correct (assuming you have setup the Trezor with the MetaMask properly). You will need to physically authorize any transaction from the device itself.

The seedphrase from MetaMask represent the "MetaMask part". So when you install and setup MetaMask, you would create a normal account, and you will be given a seedphrase... but once you link your Trezor... you will have two accounts. One account which is connected to the seedphrase you first setup on MetaMask, and the second account is connected with Trezor's seedphrase... When dealing with the trezor account, you would need to authorize transactions from the device itself as I have mentioned above.

And yes, you can change the network to Binance smart chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Arbitrum, etc. you name it. Basically any network supported by MetaMask (EVM) is also supported if you use Trezor with MetaMask.

Hi guys
Is there any way to store USDT BEP-20 or TRC20 on trezor since ERC20 fees are too high and also need ETH to make
transactions and ETH also has high fees i heard something about a bridge with metamask but i think in that case
i need to make a new wallet on metamask and the seed phrase will be stored on my computer instead of trezor which is bad
i seen in this trezor video that we can create a trezor account on metamask and secure it with a passphrase

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx4rNNSLnho

in this case is trezor account created on metamask can deposit coins just like metamask main account
and can i deposit USDT BEP20 to that trezor account and is the passphrase for that trezor account stored on my computer or not

Note: i just want to store USDT till btc price drop then i will buy btc and transfer it to my electrum wallet on my offline machine
