Topic: How to track down missing ETH (Cryptopia > Bit-Z) (Read 107 times)
Just in case anyone runs into the same thing in the future. The money eventually showed up nearly 18 hours later. While etherscan.io wasn't showing anything, https://www.etherchain.org/ did and let me see what happened.
I withdrew 0.648 ETH from the Cryptopia exchange this morning and sent it to my ETH deposit address at the Bit-Z exchange. I have made the transfer successfully in the past. The withdraw shows as successful on Cryptopia, but nothing has arrived on Bit-Z.
1) What is a reasonable amount of time before I panic? =) A full business day seems like a long time to wait.
2) How do I track the transaction to see what happened behind the scene? When I look on https://etherscan.io/ I see the account but it does not list the transaction?
