I am new to trading. I don't have an experience and reputation about trading and that's why I'm here for asking a help to an experienced person.
Can you give me an idea on how to trade and where to trade?

If you are new to trading, all exchange sites don't care if you are newbie, besides there after with your rank position here in bitcoin world. All you need to do is, you must be capable to invest to their trading platform, at least you give the minimum requirements of their site then you ca do trade at once. Just start at cheap price of the coins whether bitcoin or altcoins.

You can start to trade at any exchange platform such as bittrex, alcurex, cryptopia, c-cx etc. Just choose any of the exchange that I gave. At any moment you do trade at once.

If you want to be involved in BTC/Altcoins then you should start from Poloniex or Bittrex. The rule is pretty simple , you buy low and sell high. I'm probably making it sound easy while It's not , you should invest in ICOs and alts that have big potentials to grow like ICNs or Safecoins and not just invest randomly.
If you want to trade with only BTC and fiat then the same rule applies , It's probably a little bit difficult as you have no reputation on the forums to start trading but It's always possible to buy from third party services and HOLD for long term. I prefer this method personally.
So  I would start with Poloniex or bittrex. I can't really understand about trading cause its my first time but I will try my very best in this trading. Even it's my first, I hope it will be successive. I think in first of trading like me is hard to understand it but when I will grow with it, later on I would really understand it.

True, For the first timer it is commonly happen most often to a newbie. But just like what you said the more you do trade in the exchange platform is the more you will discover and explore your idea in their tactics in trading.
Most of the people who are new to trading usually don’t stick for too long because they either find it to complicated or they lose the first few dollars and they quit , the best thing is to never give up and always try until you get experience , try finding some hep at first and trade with a small amount and then when you get more experienced you can start trading with more it takes time.

Don't just follow someone's trade because he had one great trade, learn to develop your own view so you don't have to rely on random people's opinion about where the price is going Smiley

If you are newbie here, I could suggest you to join in the signature campaign first. Just do the proper procedure of their rules and policy that they have. Then after 1 month they will you the bounty or incentive that can you earning bitcoin.

I hope he is not asking for bitcoin earning, he is asking where to get experience on trading. Trading is always a practical job you have to learn it by yourself, if you learn it from it other it won't give you much ideas about trading. Always do trading with small of amount of money than you will get real experience.

OP is asking for a help about trading, And signature campaign has nothing to do with it

Yes experiencing it yourself is the best way to learn and grasp what is trading, Learning a thing from a experienced

trader can bring no harm and might help him in a way . You can give OP a basic knowledge about it that a trader

must know like what is trading, where to trade, what not to do etc.

i think its not be a good idea because he said about how to trade, it means he already have money or he already have bitcoin and want to trade it with altcoin or fiat. beside that, he talks about trading and not for joining in other source.

its simple as we only need to buy the bitcoin with our money in our account, or if you already have bitcoin in your wallet, you can select the altcoin or fiat to buy, and then make an order buy but don't use the instant because we don't know if the price is getting down or getting up so better we use in queue order and its save for us.

Someone should clearly be able to spot a scam and make a different between a legit and non-legit ICO otherwise he is screwed. It's not that hard though , It's all about the marketing and how effort the developers and managers has put in the project , escrows is something else that everyone should look at.
As for Poloniex or other exchange , then those Altcoins logically came from ICOs so someone should once again use his brain (mostly If he is investing for long term) while buying and selling.
It is not as easy as it seems. You are right that really poor quality ICO is easy to spot and diagnose.
Bad ICOs are characterized by: unclear goals without detailed roadmap, extensive emphasis of economic gain of investors instead of focusing on utility of a coin,
lack of transparency in communication between developers and community etc.

But from the other hand we had promising projects which went rogue - both because it was designed to be a scam (XPY) or due to lack of ICO management or project failing apart [DAO].

As a newbie myself in the world of trading in which I have got bitten too, I think the problem is not actually to create account as anyone can do that or to buy low and sell high as that is what we all wanted to achieve even the legends in trading but the issue is about the timing as well as the right stock to put money in. As this is the only difficult and the cause of failure in gambling as we are only predicting and nothing else.
that is why we have to focus in trading if you want to success here, make sure you allot more time that you could so you can watch the market flow.
Back on op, I also used poleniex as trading. Just do sign up there it is easy to access so no need to worry.

You can trade directly using exchange service or through platform like MT4.

There are 2 strategy which you can use for trading, Fundamental and Technical, both is related each other, but if you feel 1 is good enough it's up to you. You can search more about such strategy, there are deep learn for understand it(i'm still learning too).

And i think for learn trading purpose, use MT4 platform, they provide demo account which you try with virtual money, also you can use indicator for help you to analyze the chart.

If you are really a neophyte in this field of industry the only thing I could say on you is that your doing the right thing by asking anyone who are member in this forum. As you going to observe many of the newbie here they start simply by joining in the signature campaign and some are starting from trading, so from doing trading you must often read in the trading discussion and get some tips of idea in the different commentator in here for you to learn into it.

No experienced person will help you just like that for free.

The best way to learn is from trial and error(unfortunately).

Do you want to trade bitcoin/altcoins or you want to trade bitcoin for fiat money, gift cards etc.?

As you are newbie if i say all the things at a time you will confuse a lot, many people have the same idea is buy low and sell them at high is the only concept in trading, but if you want to trade in big exchanges like poloniex, bittrex you need to learn lot of things. Better my suggestion invest small amount in small exchanges like yobit, c-cex you can trade in those exchange. Check in altcoin announcement which one is best for you you go there. what are their price speculations. If you loose also don't worry, the person who is ready to loose will always learn new techniques.

You do not need reputation to trade. For me i do my trade with the help of kraken its a clean and neat trading platform, first chose you favorite site to begin with as there are a few trading sites to chose from Kraken ,liqui ,Poloniex or bittrex to name a few. The basic of any trade is buy low and sell high and take a look at coins like ICN and new promising coins to invest your money and have a safe trading experience.

There are two types of Bitcoin Trading and I will tell you the both types, you can try out the one suits you:-
1) You can Buy Now and Hold for Some time and then sell e.g. Buy Bitcoin at 700$ Now and When the price Increases sell it.
2) Or you can Buy Bitcoins and Sell them to a particular person who want to buy Bitcoin and you can find people to Sell your Bitcoins on Localbitcoins.com Or here in the currency Exchange Section of this Forum But I prefer to Use Localbitcoins.com

To put it simply, trading is a buy low sell high process and there are two kinds of trading, First is Btc to fiat. You can try selling them in person but selling online is the most common way.  Sites like localbitcoins, coinbase and bitfinex offers this service or you can just do it peer to peer here but since you are not reputable user you will have to use our escrow services.

The second one is Altcoin trading which is more complicated especially if you're a newbie because there are tons of them and yes many of them are just a scam so there are risk that they might just dump.  You can use poloniex for this and don't forget to watch the market , you can try investing in the top 5 altcoin in the market.

Very new to trading means you need to learn many things about trading with experts answers, Trading is an easy job to say buy low and sell them at high price. When you are trading with altcoin you need to be very careful because there are scam coin out there. Daily you need to follow altcoin section and speculation section about coin.

There many people discussing about the current situation of the market and the altcoin. My suggestion better you find some best coin in poloniex only. it is one of the finest exchange where you can find some good with good volumes. Better daily go through the speculation section of altcoin you will get an idea.

Well, to be honest it isn't the brightest idea to try trading as a newbie because you are likely to get sucked in with outrageous claims made by people that are trying to get money from you(ICO scams especially.)

If you are just looking for a good online altcoin trading website, try poloniex. Method? Buy low sell high.

Trading is a good way for increase your Bitcoin. But for trading you need a good skill on it.
First you need to know how to pump and dump Altcoins (You can this tutorial : http://coinduet.com/index.php?p=/discussion/62/how-to-pump-and-dump-an-altcoin#latest )
Then you need to know which Altcoins is going up and then start your trading.

Many source of trading discussion on this board, you must read carefully before made new thread because your question are low details, what do you plan to trading altcoins or trading bitcoins to fiat? And many markets for trading altcoins and bitcoin, i am sure you know about it, for the first in my suggesting choose what will be traded altcoins or bitcoins.

From what trading knowledge you have been now so far? Like ideas, basics etc.

This is to sort things out and we will not start from the scratch which will lead you for some boredom because there are some technical terms which will you encounter. Why I assume that boredom will strikes you if you just starting? Since you are looking for now an experienced person which actually just an option if you want to start from trading. First, self study then seek an advice then self study again.

Lots of suggestions now have been posted so I will just add that "for now" trade and focus only on one asset before doing multiple trades at the same time. I like to sugest that you start first at bitcoin trading since manipulation here is not that heavy compare to altcoin trades. The concern now is that you have to start at decent amount to feel the profit at bitcoin trading but as a trial you can start at low amount. After acquiring knowledge from this then you can jump at altcoin trading. Just don't be rush and learn slowly as you progress.

You will need to transfer some Bitcoin to an exchange. There are several exchanges that are recommended on other topics. I use Poloniex, but there are others like Yobit, etc. After you get your bitcoins on an exchange, put in a sell order for the price you want to sell Bitcoins and for the coin you would be buying.

where? on an exchange service. you can find many of them online, choose one that is offering service to your country and is legit.

how? it is a long thing to explain and it is not possible to fit in one comment. i don't even know where to start. you technically buy low and sell high. for learning how to trade there are lots of good resources online if you search for them and they can explain trading a lot better than any of us can on the forum.

Where you should start trading bitcoin I think it does not need to be discussed because it has many users who suggested a few places to start trading, and they already provide appropriate recommendations. To start a trade is difficult because it requires understanding to understand the trade. I'm sure many traders at the beginning to start trading will certainly experience difficulties and losses. It is natural and advisable to make trades in small amounts to minimize the amount of loss, if you are already able to get profit in a row you can use in large amounts. To get experience and reputation in the trade takes time and you must be able to learn the trade piecemeal. I'm sure you will gradually find a strategy that suits you

I would suggest Poloniex, it's good exchanger. Maybe it looks a bit scary at the moment because everything is new to you and you don't have any experience but you will learn with time. The main rule is buy low, sell high. It sounds very simple but in practice isn't realy, it takes time until you get the feeling. You can also find some useful informations here on forum from experienced members. Good luck!

in order to trade you need to create account in trading website, there are some reputable trading like bittrex, poloniex and ccex, and then deposit your bitcoin and you can start to trade, that is the step to trade, now the difficult part is how you are going to earn from trading, to start earning from trading need skill and experience, I always suggest to start trading with the small amount, you will be able to learn faster if you do it directly, then you need some guides from internet and books, to see the term they used for trading and where to find updated news about bitcoin and other alt coin

To make money in bitcoin trading you have to be skillfully in currency trading generally. You should have in mind that trading generally involved a lot of risk and you most know money management principle, risk to reward ratio, fundamentally analysis and technical analysis. For bitcoin site yobit, poloniex are some of the best site. You can margin trade or arbitrary trade on those site. Wish you many pips

If you are a neophyte in this field of industry, I suggest you to buy at low price then trade/sell at high price, or you can hold your bitcoin after you buy it then sell it when it reach 1000$ that's the time for us to sell our bitcoins.

I think in first of trading like me is hard to understand it but when I will grow with it, later on I would really understand it.

its good to choose poloniex and bittrex and i think it could suit for you. don't think too hard to understand, just take a look on one coins for first, then take a look in the history trading market, watch the trend of the coins, make a decision in what price you want to buy, i suggest better you place your order book in second place in order book or third place order book. wait until your order book is filled, then if already filled, you can set it up on sell the coins in prices you want. of course you should take a profit for this, no problem if its only small profit, later you will learn in how to make big profit. but better to make small profit but we can get it over and over.

for the place to trade it depends on what you want to trade, for bitcoin/usd there are bitfinex, bitstam, kraken and btc-e where you can start trading with fiat.

for trading bitcoin/altcoin you can choose poloniex, bittrex or c-cex.

choosing which one depends on where you live and after you read their rules (TOS) and fees and possibly their methods of deposit and withdrawal for fiat.

about how to trade I have to say you should start with a small amount or no amount and just play with a excel spreadsheet for a while to learn how you can make any profit then invest small amount and grow it over time.

Yes I quite agree. A newbie trader would find it easier to sell bitcoins for fiat(i.e EURO, GBP, USD etc.) on exchanges like Kraken, Bitstamp, BTC-e and other sites like that.
When you understand how the market moves, then you can sell bitcoins for altcoins on Poloniex and Bittrex because Bitcoin/Altcoin trading requires smart trading skills to be successful most of the time.

A bad idea for a total novice

A much better one is to stick with Bitcoin only, at least, until you get a better understanding of how trading works in general (though I would still stay from altcoins altogether unless you are exploiting a bullet-proof arbitrage opportunity). For a novice (and in fact, for other wannabe traders as well), I would recommend a lax cost averaging strategy which consists in buying and selling the same percentage of bitcoins for every given price change, set either in percentages or in absolute values

And since you are just starting to trade you can search google on how to do an effective trading or much better if you can find someone to teach you how to trade.  A mentor that will show you proper way of trading for profit but finding one is a bit hard unless you are willing to pay someone to teach you.

Hope this simple guide can help you;

1. Open an account on the said exchanges mentioned by registering there.
2. Once you have your account and confirmed in your email, deposit any coin on your exchanges wallet ex bitcoin, or other altcoin.
3. If you have a bitcoin, you can buy any coins and then when price goes up, you can sell it. Or, if you deposited your altcoin, you can sell it at reasonable price you want.

4. You can repeat the process, Just BUY LOW and SELL High. Also as a newbie, just buy in small amount and just observed the price,if you lose its ok since its a small amount only but Don't Lose the Lesson. Smiley
