Presently, Commodities are divided into three categories:

  • Hard
  • Soft
  • Energy

Commodity trading  faces a lot of impediments, such as:
  • Time Delay in Trading
  • Non-transparency in accounts
  • Unspecified Tracking
  • Document Verification while importing/exporting
And more..

What else do you think is the problems/challenges faced by commodity trading today?

I think we should take this to NewzoneEX as they are planning to shift from metal commodity trade to creating a blockchain based commodity trading platform.

I think there can be a change if something great is developed. Like AI and something in IoT..

Guys, do let me know if you know hassle free ways to import and export through the seas.

Never heard of that project but trading commodities isn't an easy thing to pass unless there has been tests made for its run.

Blockchain is decentralized and its a public ledger so I think it won't be hard to those that has been into the industry. I've seen a project that is doing this but with real estate assets converted to tokens.

I am a crypto investor and I feel there’s a scope of doing better in the commodity industry with Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. I mean that can really add some glitter to the industry

What do you think can be done? I mean there are laws and bills and everything that govern these things. It’s difficult to bring about a change in commodity trade.

Yes I agree, importing issues are really uncrackable. You know how to escape this?

Only these problems? I am pretty sure that there are a lot of problems that exist in the commodity trade. Importer and exporter worries and the report of shipments with tracking are a few issues that need to be addressed right away.
