I would appreciate advice on the best way in 2018 November to transfer bitcoin to paypal uk/gbp please?
I will suggest you make use of Paxful or Localbitcoin. Don’t even try to do business with anyone in this forum if you don’t trust them. Some people here are scammers, even when they are caught they will quickly change account. So it will be best for you to use a trusted platform like Paxful and do it easily, or if you can get anyone to sell locally to, that’s even better.

I always prefer it the other way.
A lot of online companies can track what you're doing and will sell on your infmration in order to make a greater profit on their enterprise. Doing cash transfers is safer than dealing with people over the internet? OK, if you're in a secure location where enough people know you then yes that is safe, it becomes less safe where no one knows you and you're just wondering around with several hundred/thousands £/$ to trade (or worse, to accept).

I have one idea, I usually use it without problem, btw it's not a direct way.
Is xapo accepted in your country? If yes, then what about to use it? I mean you own xapo, receive bitcoins here, convert them in GBP (xapo has very good rate), then fill Xapo Debit card, stick this card on your paypal account, do payment with it through paypal.
I don't know why but this happens on my account: When I pay with card through paypal, for example on ebay and then calcel order, I receive money on PP instead of my visa card, this way funds stay on PP.

what amount do you want to sell? I could buy it and wire you money via PP but need to know the amount and price.

Thank you hula, very kind of you.

I did resend email to VirWoX using both emails, no reply as yet.

There is a step by step tutorial with images for the exchanges I suggested you to use, and a video for Virwox as well: https://99bitcoins.com/sell-bitcoins-with-paypal-convert-your-bitcoins-to-usd/

Hi OmegaStarScream, I followed the instructions (address above) using VirWoX, ie bitcoin (£5.10 worth) to VirWoX. Exchange to SLL then to $5 USD (still have SLL = 207.16), USD withdrawn to Paypal = $3.90 USD. All seems well so far. Will check tomorrow to see if Paypal account still up and running.
Thank you again.

As you will notice though, there will be limits which will only fade away after a period of time (few months) and the fees are not the best either but apart from that, It's a very reputable site. I still suggest trading with trusted individuals If you want to make this as profitable as possible

Is it $3.90 in your PayPal or £3.90?
If it’s $3.90 I can give you a much better rate. By PayPal or uk bank transfer (although I’d expect you to go first).

Thank  you, I don't need cash, I want to buy something on ebay :-) But worth knowing about Bitcoin ATM for when I do need cash.

Ebay should allow Brits to pay through Paypal with their debit card. Sell via Localbitcoins or Coinbase Pro into your bank account and do that. You're throwing vast amounts of money away dabbling with any method that goes direct to Paypal. Presumably you or someone you know has a bank account?

The bitcoin atm idea could also be used in conjunction with this too - to avoid the need for kyc.
Based on my recent trading with omegastarscream though, it does take a while for funds to appear in a paypal account (I'm still waitinf rom the 3rd)...

I never use or know how VirWoX services are but after going through there site they seems to be ok and I will advice you to follow your heart. However, if I were you I will trade with the users that OmegaStarScream recommended while I try VirWox with little fund just to be sure how it works.
If bitcoin ATM is close to you there why not check menapay.  In the mean time why not contact Virwox second email [email protected]

I received a reply from Virwox instructing me to follow: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/VirWoX#How_to_sell_bitcoins

Coinbase states: 'Transfers using PayPal are no longer available'
How do I found a green trust member?

Members that I suggest trading with, from experience:

Triple: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/triple-379898
Magnavox: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/magnavox-397157
Thank you OmegaStarScream.

Also, can anyone take me step by step into sending bitcoin to Virwox account, then sending to paypal please? Virwox email support address not working, doesn't fill me with confidence.

The issue with Paypal is that Paypal is reversible. So its very risky for the individual who is selling the Bitcoins. Paypal used to be a popular option a few years back when there was less exchanges, and everybody only did Paypal by escrow and it was fairly safe.

However these days there is no reason to use Paypal since there are many exchanges. And if you need the cash right away, just go to a Bitcoin ATM which sells GBP for BTC. The fee is usually high 10% but its more convenient for some.

You should be able to do so using Coinbase, BitPanda or Virwox. If none of these solutions is possible for you, just trade with individuals in Localbitcoins/Paxful or the forums.

Just make sure to trade with trustworthy and reputable members while dealing with other individuals because you'll be the one sending bitcoin which is irreversible while that's not the case for PP.

Thank you OmegaStarScream. Could you take me through the procedure. My bitcoin is on another website, how should I send it to Coinbase and how from Coinbase should I send it to PayPal?
Firstly, I want you to know that you'll need to provide your personal information in other to make use of the exchanges mentioned and the option you have to stay anonymous is trade with a green trust member on here but if you choose not go to
Coinbase, cex evonax, paxful they all offer bitcoin to paypal transaction register an account and send the btc to your deposit address.
