Nopes, your assumption is not correct. I was out of touch from cryptos for almost three years. It's cool, it's my account...  Smiley
Just relax when there are people who assume wrongly against you, because sometimes there are people who judge everything the same so that they assume incorrectly, even though he himself is sleeping Grin

Some instructions are very smooth and acquit. The basic and formal instructions has given here for all of newbie members as well. So follow the legendary instructions and be successful. I hope it would not be a huge hard training for a crypto expert, just a procedure which can you solve by slight pushing as usual browsing and depositing but it is not a too simple. Anyway,  here is the all instructions: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/how-to-deposit

Do you buy this account you are using from someone? Cos I'm wondering how a full member don't know how transfer Ethereum to binance exchange, it shows you aren't the real owner of the account, this is a question can newbies can ask not a full member

Hi,

I am thankful to everyone here who took important time from their schedule for responding to this.

That was all my ignorance, forgetfulness and stupidity. I did not know that the passphrase is actually the password of my keystore. I tried many passwords but it didn't work until as a last option I entered passphrase in password field and it worked.

Thank you, all. You are great community!
Don't worry this function for tread forum discussion you can ask anything still not understand in cryptocurrency exactly with payment transaction when you wanna try sending your fund, this most important I think with sending balance in cryptocurrency is different when you use other currency like PayPal, Payza or Perfect Money, in cryptocurrency when you use wrong address you can't canceled your assets but still have chance when you use other digital currency like PayPal.

It is not as hard as you think and you can ask for customer services from Binance so as they can directly help you to resolve the problem. Or you can kindly follow this link: https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/how-to-deposit

...
You can use myetherwallet to open your wallet. Then send them straight to Binance

Hi I think I have failed to state my issue clearly.

I will try again:

1) I mined ETH from my rig. I have ETHs in geth. The 0x address I have that I got from geth gives me balance on EtherScan. I also have keystore and passphrase (but no private key). I hope this is clear to all.

2) I have just created a wallet in MyCrypto (Desktop) app. That gave me a private key, 0x address, and keystore file.

3) Now what should I to do bring (geth) (mining) balance to MyCrypto? (This is a missing link). I hope I stated my requirement clearly and you are also clear on this. If not then please ask.

(Note: I was out from cryptos for two whole years)

Thank you in advance.

you are a full member and have registered since 2016, and don't know how to deposit to the exchange?
okay we start from entering a private key or keystore.
After logging in, please open your Binance account then deposit menu, look for ETH and copy the address then send it from mew or whatever app you use to do this.
then send, done.

Hi the thing is that I only mined and my balance is still in miner (geth). I do have 0x, keystore and passpharase but dont have a private key.

Open your binance account and check which one wallet do you wanna use for sending ether fund, I think if your fund from mew better check with gas transaction fees and depending with their gas setting, never use under gas transaction speed if you wanna sending of your ether success receive in Binance, but if you use lower gas transaction take few hours and some time if below gas your transaction failed and you loss your eth gas.

I think I am lost:

I will present whole thing here that what did I do (its 2 years old thing but I written down the things in my diary):

- I built mining rig and mined only ETH using Claymore miner

- I generated wallet address using geth

- I did "geth account new"

- I specified passpharase

- I made a copy of keystore file

- I have (a) 0x address (b) keystore file and (c) passphrase

- I DO NOT have private key.

I do have ETH because I get my balance when I enter my 0x address in EtherScan

Please help me in this. What should I do.

Thank you in advance.

Go to deposit tab under your binance wallet menu, then choose eth, your eth wallet on binance account will appear there, copy and paste itu and send. Its just that simple step.

You new to this world ?

So, what I gathered that basically this is what I have to do the following:

1) Create wallet in MEW, Coinbase etc.

2) Deposit ETH in MEW from 0x address (the one I am checking balance in EtherScan)

3) Deposit ETH in Binance from MEW

Would be thankful if someone validate the above steps.

but make sure you choose erc20  as your deposit network. because there are 3 choices when you press the eth deposit in binance - bep2, bep20(bsc) and erc20. since your eth will come from MEW, you need to select for erc20, otherwise, it may get lost. the steps you laid out is just right but if you want assurance that you are doing it right, send small amount first and make sure it will go thru before sending the rest.

You should download this

https://download.mycrypto.com/

It's the desktop version of ethereum wallet.

After you have downloaded it then install it and open the app. You will see a windown will be popping up. You should click on the view and send your wallet tab.
Click on the keystore or phasephrase to open your wallet and when you are using keystore to open your wallet don't forget to put your password.

Hi JeotQ,

I have the following:

- 0x address
- Keystore file
- Passphrase

Please let me know the three items that I have are enough?

I don't have the private key or the password.

I forgot from where I got the private key or how to get the private key (if there a need for a private key).

Would be very thankful for your help.
I kept my keystore file and private key in myetehereum to unlock MEW.
Keystore file is enough to secure your account.
Don't forget to save both keys as keys for your MEW wallet.
Usually a password or password must be created first, if you save keystore file.

For myethereum which is now unable to find privatkey. I also don't know why it can't be found in myethereum settings.

Hi Xardasim,

Thank you for your reply. I remember didn't make account in MyEtherWallet. The Ethers I made are through mining.

Can I use my 0x address directly in Binance?
If the ether you earned are through mining aren't you supposed to drop a wallet address to receive your Ethereum in the first place? I hope you aren't trying to mine ether directly into binance Ethereum address? If that's it then don't do it, it's better to get separate Ethereum wallet address for the mining rewards and move the ether from the wallet to binance for selling, I recommend trust wallet

Isn't 0x address that I am entering in EtherScan to fetch my balance is my ETH wallet address?

Kind regards,

Rizwan

The first thing you have to do is open the MEW or MyEtherWallet site, you can also do this via MetaMask.
Then select the menu "send" on MEW,
Next, you open Binance to get your Ether wallet account by clicking the menu "deposit". Choose ETH, then copy the address and paste it in MEW.
Then send.
Thank's
But your question doubts me. Grin

After opening an account in Binance, go to the spot wallet and choose the coin(ETH) you want to deposit. Push the deposit button that appears on the edge and it will give you an ETH deposit address that starts with 0x. The wallet you hold the ETH has a private key that you can use to access your wallet from myetherwallet. After accessing the wallet, click on the withdraw button, paste the address Binance gave you and push the send button.
