if you still have control of the email you used to register for the binance account, you cant reach out to them through email and they will solve the issues for you. you wil be asked some questions which they will later resolve the issues once the correct answer is provided. there is no shortcut for your relative to recieve your funds, best is to give the poy and deed

Legally speaking (as far as I know) after your death, your legal heir will get everything that you own automatically even if you don't leave any will I guess. So as long as you have a legal heir, they will get everything, but only if they know what you own. So it will be very wise to inform them about your funds, accounts etc so that they can claim from them if something happens to you. I think even if government doesn't count crypto as currency, but still it can be seen as an asset that's bound to transfer to your heir or nominee.

I think you should your access your account again by send to them an email of what problems you encountered right now. Giving again your informartion ans even your ID to them will help for sure for them to gives an access or any details that you need to withdraw your funds to the binance. I hope your problems will be okay and you will get your money to that exchanges.

I think you can send an email to the customer service suport of the exchange where you have funds but you forgot your 2fa code verification. They can help you disable your 2fa verfication in your exchange account so that you can sign it again. This is a common problem for a trader which always relies on phone verification, so it is better if you have back-up on other device next time.

For now, it seems like this kind of problem is nothing to worry about, but as much as possible we really have to keep the account and don't lose it. Simply contact their service and tell the truth, usually, you will be asked to send your ID or passport as well as other data that confirms that it is really you

There is no back lane that can be used if without 2FA code, it's best you immediately contact the Binance support to help you
can access your Binance account again. But it is mandatory to have an email, if you cannot access your email it may also be
difficult for parties Binance believes that you are the owner of the account.

The importance of 2FA code is to protect your assets while using this exchange, both 2fa code and email information will be asked if you'll going to withdraw your funds, having a problem accessing this two would be crucial to the users though like many and you have said that binance support is the only way to recover those coins.

Contacting and seeking for help coming from the support assistance of binance is only way, there's no one who can guide you more accurately than the customer support of binance  exchange itself.,

Be aware to use any other channel than binance, especially those who are from telegram or other social media group that will chat you and tells you that they definitely help you.

Remember to guard yourself from those hackers and scammers.

Honestly when you die, your phone still lives... so why would anyone have any trouble withdrawing your money when you die? All they need is basically the username(mail) and password and phone so that you can get to 2fa.

So, you just need to give all these three to someone before you die (well not your phone but you are dead, so what are you going to do when someone takes it resurrect? Cheesy) so all in all it is not a problem at all if you ask me, it is literally as simple as 1 minute to get into someones account as long as you have access to everything you need. Hell give the email and password of that email as well if you want just to make sure and you can even secure it better. Give your passport or ID as well, almost all of these are stuff people can use to get into your account after you die, you do not have to do anything extra.

The problem will arise if the relatives do not know anything about cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency exchanges. Thus, you will need to explain to them what it is and why you are sending them data from your email, password and phone, and how they can use it.

Is there any service i can use that will be something like a backdoor which i or my relatives can use if something goes wrong?
I guess the best way to do for that is to make a list of whom you'll trust your funds incase something happened to you that made you to not be able to access it.
Ofcourse this should be confirmed by the law. So ask for a lawyers help and do the process.

Hi to all the community.
Recently i've got a problem with my trading account on binance, got it 2FA verified and 2FA was on my mobile phone which i've lost. So i've lost an access to my exchange as well, because i didn't save a code to 2FA.
So i've started again and wondering if there's something can happen not only with my equipment, but me as well,  how can my relatives receive my funds without getting an access to my binance account, email, 2FA, etc. Is there any service i can use that will be something like a backdoor which i or my relatives can use if something goes wrong?

When it comes to 2af I bet you don't joke with it at all not in any case, because you will be very stranded going through stress in getting your account back. My best advice is to make use of alternatives I think we have Twilio Authy you probably can get it on  Google Play store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.authy.authy

What's the point making the money if you don't want your family to gain from it in future. Probably this not a good step to take by not letting your family get access to your funds on the Exchange you really need to teach or show them. And secondly binance has even make online trading easier for you and I with all features put in.

But here Op is asking about moving his funds to others because he can't access his own funds due to loss of 2FA which should be proceeded through the support team.
How could you transffer the fund of your account if you even didn't know how to login due to loss 2FA. This 2FA I have heard different cases of lossing on it you will hardly recover. Unless, if the exchange will allow you to use but this is rare scenario that exchange will allow you to withdraw your fund.

The best thing to do by the OP is to contact the support, having multi-accounts and if it is detected by the exchange staff or owner they will freeze your fund because I guess they think that you are an abuser.

Calling the support team is better are more convenient way.
While signing up for any 2fa they will provide a recovery code for the situation like these but if we lose that as well then it is going to be hard. But possible though via contacting the support team and since OP is talking about Binance exchange I hope they will assist the user to recover the access to his account by removing 2FA manually but for that user need to provide all the documents they were asking.

Well, yeah, but if i won't be able and noone from my relatives know about my funds and they don't have any idea what crypto is. Is any way for them to receive money?

Well, they should know about crypto then. At least know how to withdraw your funds and exchange it into fiat when they need it. There is no other way, trusting another person or institution to do it for you has more risks than benefits. You should educate them while you still can.

You have touched upon a very important topic of cryptocurrency inheritance. And we need to do everything possible now to ensure that the cryptocurrency can be inherited, which otherwise will remain unclaimed on the exchange. If your heirs do not know anything about cryptocurrency, you should draw up a detailed guide that includes instructions on how they can get Fiat to their account.

is it really possible to recover our 2fa ? i was also thinking the same what if i lose my phone  , id be fcked up then if that happen but thankfully there  are guides for these kind of problems  .

If you check the link it's about how to recover your GitHub account if you ever lose your 2FA, so yeah it's possible but not really related to OP problem. Don't know why it was even mentioned. Basically, if you lost 2FA for a centralized services, then talking with them will help you, unless you want to manually recover data from your phone which will requires some knowledge a bit here and there.

Just in case somebody question the same thing.

Your relatives are still some other third person so no one can access your account except you.Did you saved the 2FA recovery code anywhere while activating 2FA feature if yes then try to find it so simply write to binance support surely you can access your account back by following the steps given by the support. It may be a time taking process but surely you can trust binance's support they are far better than others.

If I'm not mistaken OP already dealing with this based from his replied here

A well detailed information about such incidents is provided by Binance, you should have asked them on their official telegram group or check FAQs on their website to verify.

I think that there is nothing that can be done in case of losing the 2FA protection code except to contact Binance support, this process requires verification of some of your information and in case they make sure of your words they will disable the 2FA protection and you can enter your account. You had to write this code on a sheet and keep it, also there is an export feature in the Google app where you can export your keys to another phone as a backup.
As for access to your funds (in case something happens to you) by your family, the best solution is to backup your keys and passwords and put it on usb or paper and give it your wife or one of your children and it can be used if something happens to you.

I am not sure if Binance does the same but my experience to some small exchange was that they can't help me with it since my phone's LCD got burned that I can't even see the whole screen,  and it's dead pixel all over.
However I believe that's a support issue for an exchange, and I believe that Binance can still help you with that.

What sort of "backdoor" are you talking about? Try to get in touch with Binance first so that there would somehow an assurance if they can still help you get access to your account back again, because pretty much it is a loss no matter how we look at it unless you try what I said.
And no, don't even think of loaning just to regain your lost fund.

I'd never try this one because I didn't encounter a problem like this. I was so careful in regards to codes, private keys, and anything related to my account credentials. I duplicated it and to be sure that I don't lose any of them. May this thing will give you a lesson to learn and that to know how important the codes it is.

There is no legal or illegal method that you can use to solve the problem you mentioned. I strongly recommend you to solve this problem by sending an e-mail to Binance and not using anyone as an intermediary. Also, I do not want to remind you not to give your account information to anyone who claims to be able to fix the problem. Remember that in such cases, malicious people may want to appear to help you and take over your account. For this reason, I recommend you to contact Binance officials and find a solution to your problem.

Make sure you have access to the e-mail that is registered to your binance account as well as to reset.

You are so careless not making backups of 2FA authentication, so when something bad happens. Not confused like this, the only way
ask for Binance help. Later you only need to prove that the account really belongs to you, if Binance is sure you really are the owner
of the account. Then soon Binance will restore your account so that it can be accessed again. Don't forget to make a backup next time.

You can get the 2FA deactivated by simply open a ticket and provide reasons why you want to deactivate it. It is going to be less rigorous if you already verify your account and as well as you have access to the mail. To your second question, I'm very sure this has been answered a lot of time in the forum. You can provide detail to your wallet on your will. However, it is not advisable to always put all your coin on exchange

Well, the easiest way would be to have all the information on a piece of paper that you give your lawyer with the will that would be read after you die? Your own "will" that you leave will give your house to someone, your stuff to someone, your money to someone and that will give your crypto to someone as well.

From 2fa to everything else, when you die, your loved ones can take a look at a piece of paper that explains how they could cash that out, if they are interested in crypto they would know what to do but if they are not you will leave them something that would help them cash that out to fiat currency which they could later use. I have already got one ready, my wife got pissed because I was thinking about death but it is life and a car could hit me at any time, I do not have to die from old age only, it could be something else who knows.

Nothing lasts forever
If you lose your 2FA then binance have a procedure where it asks you for your backup code from where you can reset the 2FA and if you don't have that as well then you have to go undergo the KYC process where identifies your identity and then gives you the access to your account.

In case something happens to the owner of the account then there is nothing their relatives can do unless they have the access to your account.
This is why you should ensure that you have kept the backup code in a safe place and have informed about it to your relatives so that they can access your funds in case of a misfortune.

I have wondered about this myself, I don't think it will be easy or even possible for relatives to gain access to exchange accounts, especially if these are not kyc verified... and besides, who will know about your assets and their location?... only way I've found is to instruct one person about all the stuff and share a copy of the access keys...

Emailing Binance is the only and the best solution. They have quite good service and they do take care of their customers a lot. Don't worry too much. Unless you lose your private key to access your wallet, nothing needs to worry so much. Third-party platforms usually centralize your coins and take responsibility for you in many cases. That is why Binance, Coinbaes, etc are trusted over the last few years

If you want your relatives to access your wallet and exchange, you need to make them understand bitcoin and others stuff related to it. Then, you can make a copy of your 2fa code and give it to them.

But of course as said before just contact Binance it's obvious...

About the problem with the binance by recovering your account you should make a PM to them because they have good customer service but still if you don't want and you know have a new account it depends on you.

There is another way if you don't want that your relatives can have access on your account and do you want to them the money, use platform that support the use of the cryptocurrency and fiat currency and by that, you can easily convert your funds without hassle because its more convenient to you but I think you are the one who still manages that because what if they don't have enough knowledge with the use of that.

There no such thing as backdoor, everything is crypto should be well taken care of. Your passwords, keys, it should be back up so that when worst comes to worst, you have a fall back plan and you can recover everything.

Probably he/she meant to say is make another account that the identity was under by any of your relatives then, withdraw.

But for me, I won't suggest this if I can provide KYC. Sending to your own bank account and then transfer to the account of your relative might a good idea.
If you will directly send to your relative accounts, it might look suspicious to the exchange and probably they think that your account has been compromised. But first, try to ask their support regarding this matter, sometimes honesty will benefit us in the end.

I understand that no one from your relatives knows about crypto but it was not a hindrance to making a transfer. All you need is to educate them and provide information or account details needed to log in. It won't takes so long as long as they want to listen and learn about it but if not, you don't have any choice but to let others will do the job.

So i've started again and wondering if there's something can happen not only with my equipment, but me as well,  how can my relatives receive my funds without getting an access to my binance account, email, 2FA, etc. Is there any service i can use that will be something like a backdoor which i or my relatives can use if something goes wrong?

But I don't recommend third-party services because the risk is high and I'm afraid you could lose everything you have. Better to choose your closest friend that you have trusted for a long time and could really be trusted.

You can tell on your security keys, passwords, seeds etc.  to anyone you trust a lot.
Family or relatives  are my recommendation.

An ambiguous sentence (bold sentences). here's what i want to ask :
- If your relatives have no idea about crypto, how will you send money to them?

But i have suggestions (based on scenarios that your relatives have no idea about crypto).
- Change your crypto to your local currency
- Withdraw it from exchange.
- After withdrawal funds received in your bank account, transfer it to your relatives.
Those suggestions sounds familiar right?

You need to email there support. I happen to also not save my 2fa code so their system asked me to provide KYC again.  Shit happens.

What you provide for KYC the last time you did it must also be the one for quick approval. I learned this because I tend to submit my drivers license the 2nd time. But they reminded me that I submitted passport during my first verification so I did submit my password again. It was time consuming because it took aweek to 10 days when you do account recovery.

Once all this is done and you regain access. Sending your coins to relatives is already easy.
I don't think that's what he wanted to know. He's concerned about how his relatives would access his funds if anything happened to him.

I can only give you one tip here that I've used myself. Make a copy of your most important data and give it to the person who would be your heir in case of your death. You could for example create a USB stick with photocopies of your codes/seeds etc. on it and encrypt it with a password that only you two know. Alternatively, you could of course give this data to a lawyer who would handle your estate ... should you have one.

I think it is very good to make arrangements for such situations, you just don't know what will happen tomorrow. Especially private keys and co. could be irretrievably lost if you don't store them in a secure place where a third party knows about them.

That is one way and very good I have to say.
The other is to include the data about your wallet including private keys into your last will. That is good way for these data to be protected and at the end they will be revealed to person or persons you want them to and everything will be covered legaly also.

So i've started again and wondering if there's something can happen not only with my equipment, but me as well,  how can my relatives receive my funds without getting an access to my binance account, email, 2FA, etc. Is there any service i can use that will be something like a backdoor which i or my relatives can use if something goes wrong?

A well detailed information about such incidents is provided by Binance, you should have asked them on their official telegram group or check FAQs on their website to verify.

thank you, it worked!

Sending your coins to relatives is already easy.

You mean sending it by myself? Well, yeah, but if i won't be able and noone from my relatives know about my funds and they don't have any idea what crypto is. Is any way for them to receive money?

You should email Binance. They will then ask you some questions about your account which only you and Binance knows about. And then they will ask you to send them a copy of your government ID with another photo indicating date and your signature.

Of course you have to do this from the email address you used to register.

TLDR They will help you regain account access as long as they can confirm your identity.

Once all this is done and you regain access. Sending your coins to relatives is already easy.
