It seems you're trying to setup a pool using a miner you don't really understand. That will never work.
Use a reference miner for testing your pool and use an existing pool to test the Avalon. Once they are working seperately
bring them together.

Block halving is coming.
What I mean is this unit does not support ASICboost so if you mine on the pool that supports only units with ASICboost the unit you have will not work.

About this unit Avalon 1047, does not have ASICboost feature you probably looking for firmware that has the ASICboost feature but I can't find any tools or firmware to enable it.

Are you trying to set up your own pool with an open-source Yiimp pool? Try to ask this on their Yiimp GitHub page and maybe someone can point you to or help you with this case or maybe they know how to edit a few codes on the Yiimp pool to support units with no ASICboost feature.

Maybe the pool where you trying to mine with your unit do not support non asicboost units so you can try to mine this coin on other pools then update here.

Check other pools listed here https://miningpoolstats.stream/deutscheemark

Thanks for your reply. It's a Yiimp pool that I'm setting up to mine eMark and merge-mine Bitmark simultaneously.   I understand that Yiimp does not support asicboost, so my problem is actually how to turn asicboost off on the Avalon 1047.

If I can't turn off asicboost, then I have to modify Yiimp or go to a different pool software like miningcore, but miningcore does not support merge-mining.

Hi All,

Trying to mine Deutsche eMark, a SHA256 coin, with an Avalon miner 1047, but the pool is rejecting the hashrate with the message "unknown message mining.configure ", apparently indicating the miner is using 'asicboost'.

But I have looked at the canaan.io website and cannot find any reference to 'asicboost'. There is a "Work Mode" choice on the miner's interface, "Normal Mode" or "High Performance", but neither choice appears to make any difference.

Any help or clues appreciated ....
