When you are browsing through your directories, show them in the "list" or "column" view. You can select that with the "View" menu in your Finder.

Alternatively you could right-click on the file and select "File Info" from the pop-up menu. Selecting the file and pressing CMD-I has the same effect.

Is this true? Just download the new version and then replace is that the only way to upgrade?

If you're worried (or even if you aren't) back up your wallet first. Easy peasy.

Your wallet *ought* to be in ~/Libraries/Application Support/Litecoin/

Check there and make sure the timestamps for wallet.dat are sometime around the time you closed the litecoin-qt application.

Then drag the new Litecoin client into /Applications/ and let the new one overwrite the old one. Just like any other Mac application.

I am on osx. How do I update? If I download the new version and replace my wallet will I lose all my coins? How do I do it I am a noob at this. Thanks
