i have being following up the this thread for the beginning i have taken note of all the points mentioned to help increase our rank on this forum, most especially the ones from the high ranking members of this forum. to earned merit easily is to develop skill that help solve other members problem and proffers solution to needs in the forum.

Knowing that you lack earning at least 1 merit to make it to Jr. Member, I’d suggest that you take a deeper look at merited posts around the forum to understand what is required, and compare the content to those you’ve been making as of late (Altcoin Discussion is also an unlikely board to receive merits on lately).

Additionally, if you take a look around this very same board (Beginners & Help), you’ll find some threads which award merits every now and then provided some conditions are met, and all it takes is a bit of time and a wee bit of effort to comply.

Yeah this is the standard point of all rank, so the problem is how to generate the merit or earn the merit, its easier to input the figure but very difficult to earn it, at least as a beginner you have to work for your development so that you can reach to those ranks than calculating certain position when you have not earn one merit, just try to be creative and research for information's that can enable you to earn merit.

Because you don't get any merit. Try to make some useful and helpful post for others and you will get merit later. If you get 1 merit, you will automatically ranked up to Jr.member rank

That is an important need to do in many cases, but let’s be honest, people do not refrain from posting on the English sections of the forum until they have a good command of English (that could take a lifetime in many cases we see around here on a daily basis). The command of the language one posts in is important to make your post seamlessly understandable, and not a stone scattered path.

On the other hand, there are many languages that lack a local board here (as is to be expected really), and those that do exists are not as vivid in conversation nor content as the English board equivalent.

In addition, the general norm of campaigns is that they do not take into account posts created on local boards, which moves people to go out of their depth and try to communicate in a language that is a cross between “Mr. Google Translit” and Baldrick from The Black Adder, but that ends up looking more like something written by Manuel from Fawlty Towers.

Some forum members such as @Jet Cash (see his Fit to Talk project for example) go the extra mile to try to help forum members with the English language and whatnot, but that rather is an exception.

I think what we should do is learn more and more about this forum and make some useful thread or reply,help any member or give some informative to all and make this forum to better more. Or we can learn this thread Newbie's Guide to Getting Merit (Proven) . And also we must improve our english languange if we want to post at global forum if it's not your native language. And after you do it maybe merit will come to us . ( I'm still new at this forum to so i still to learn more so let always do the best)

I'll give you guys some tips if you want merits.

Don't waste forum space, and the time of merit awarders, by posting the same old tired topics that include blocks of text from the stickies.

Don't start threads unless you understand your topic, and you can provide some useful advice.

Don't quote to original post in full in an attempt to make you post look worthwhile.

I'm a merit source, and a merit awarder, and these are some of the things that cause me to skip posts and threads. Sometimes the above bad habits cause me to put members on ignore as well.

Merite sources are almost in all boards of the forum, if your post deserve to be awarded then it will be merited. I think all depends in why you want to uprank, but if you keep concentrating on upgrade your rank, you won't receive any merit for this.

You just have to keep posting good stuff as in something useful. And if someone will like it will give it you on his own. There is a option besides reply known as merit. If you press that you can give merit to someone but it only happens when yourself have merit.

hi. You have so useful topic here but could you please let me know how to receive merit? Merit is what we need to upgrade the rank and position but i still don't know how. Thanks in advance

Let us move on! This issue has been discussed already in meta and even in this section. It was even forgotten and now you were trying to revive again. I have moved on with this already that I was even barely to get 1 merit. I know this is so hard to get merit so I guess you should try to create a different and unique topic. Make it wonderful and informational  that would be helpful not only to newbie users but also to high rank users. Put all your effort in doing it as much as possible so as to attract merit source to give you merits as rewards.

I too were thinking about a good topic to start a thread but I just can't. It is better to reply than to start a thread. I have my head ache every time I think too much. So I leave to be a Jr. member rank then and I am used to it already.

How To Upgrade Your Rank & The Position In The Bitcoin Forum

Before share my ideas here I must say that I am a newbie myself & I know that lot of people are wandering why they can not become a Jr. Member after posting/completing required number of activities in the forum. Some of them are wandering why their own ranks went down. Few of them thought that their Accounts were hacked. NO. That is not the reason.

To meet the standards and maintain the quality of the forum, they ave changed the activity levels in the forum recently. Those are as follows.
 

Earn merits is not easy as gain activities. To earn merits you have to post good,thoughtful, creative articles, which contain meaningful things (Just not rubbish) that would helpful to others.

Do not only concentrate about earning through the forum, but try to learn from the forum too. As a beginner I've learnt lot by going through the forum, and articles of others are so helpful to me. I could learnt lot of things about the Cryptocurrencies by reading and spending time here and there in the forum. There were some comments that talk to the right point and do help to solve big troubles.

So I thought I should share with others what I learnt and what will be helpful to others. I hope this would be helpful to others who are wandering why they couldn't reach the expected rank and why they got demoted. So Let's share each others opinions and let's be helpful to each other each an every way we can.
