I just want to bump in this thread to help some newbies out there as I myself have struggled to use this feature.

you can only post a picture once you reach Jr. Member using this tag:
you upload them somewhere else like imgur. you can't embed videos here, but you can post the link.

you cant. You need to upload them elsewhere, e.g. imgur.com for pictures.
