bump.

any update on US regulated brokers that are allowed to use bitcoin based deposits/withdrawals and are able to trade btc pairs against crypto and forex and commodities Huh

i have been using and currently using evolve for a year now. but with very light trading... because i am hesitant of them exit scamming like every other exchange?

so far i'm seeing simplefx (but it says the same thing like evolve, does not provide services to citizens and residents of the United States)
i-pandora ,, haven't signed up
avatrade ,, haven't signed up
fx open ,, havent signed up
justforex ,, haven't signed up

Try this

https://www.xm.com
https://www.tradersway.com/

On topic, most platforms now do make use of tradingview and i didnt see any stand alone mt4 platform.

they're both not available for US residents Sad

MT4 only for CFDs margin trading and not for spot trading, and when we are doing transaction there, we are not trade the real BTC but only the price. In this situation of market which BTC oversold is better trade the real BTC on crypto exchange.

Metatrader platform only to designed for margin trading, so will be not possible to trade spot market there. We can trade many different asset in this platform because many broker provide many trading pair include forex, stocks and crypto. Just to remember all asset that tradeable by use margin and leverage will be more risky, so before to do we should we know the risk and have already risk management.

SimpleFX + MT4 is pretty badass once you get the charts setup properly.  Takes some time but I see this guy posted a writeup including his charts template file which I found hella handy: https://medium.com/l33t/simplefx-setup-trading-guide-2c3230c785c4

Watch the spread on equities though guys, that's how they make their money!

Bitcoin trading on the MetaTrader is margin trading by use leverage.  Not like trading spot on the crypto exchange, We can make profit in this platform by open potition buy and sell. But margin trading is only for expert trader that has enough skill to reduce the risk. Metatrader is platform with full trading tool,  so its very good for trading activity.

Hi,

Can we trade in Bitcoin with the programs used for Forex systems? https://howtobuybitcoins.info For example, can I follow the MT4 program live on the exchange sites in these sites? Can I give trade orders to these sites using MT4?

Hi, I tried it - the system blocks all types of bitcoin interactions

We looked at MT5 integration and decided it wasn't really appropriate for a crypto business. I do know it is a very powerful platform with alot of documentation and helpful information, but there aren't many in the crypto-space that offer it and I think i know why.

Hi, so is not possible to code some crypto exchange API inside MetaTrader?

At least to receive the tick data in real time and use the indicators and strategies (not to trade in live)?

And what about adding historical price data for backtesting?

I think is not possible because between crypto exchange and metatrader platform is different , crypto exchange for spot trading and metatrader platform is for margin leverage trading. Both is not connected each others.

For beginner trader, Metatrader platform will be more difficult to use it than crypto exchange, but in the google and youtube already many tutorial about it. Actually trade Crypto in MT4 is use leverage so this trading will be more risk than trade crypto on the exchange that without use margin. All broker offer demo account how to trade crypto on the MT4 so you can learn it without use real money.

Doing crypto trading on the exchange and on the MT4 platform is little different, on the exchange when we doing buy and sell actually we  really make transaction with the coin, but in MT4 we not doing buy and sell the real coin, just use contract called CFD/Contract For Different which allow us to make profit when bullish and bearish with option of margin and leverage. MT4 platform is good platform because there available many features that not available on the exchanges, like trailling stop, stop loss.

Before I do not advise you to trade at FOrex because in my experience it is too dangerous to trade in a place like that, and when we sell wrong then it is all our money.

But all of it back to you, because you are the owner of the capital that you hold and your throw it much in reply by friends who are more senior than me.

There are many broker forex now offer pair of crypto in their mt4 platform and allow to make deposit by use Bitcoin,  one of the that broker is Fxopen, in this broker we can make deposit by BTC and other crypto and will shown MBTC balance in their MT4. Some benefits to use this platform is we can make profit when the price on bullish or bearish by make open potition buy and sell,   and also available stop loss and trailling stop function to reduce the risk in trading.

Step by step trade bitcoin on metatrader 4 or metatrader 5 platform:

  • Open real account with Bitcoin Forex Broker
  • Download and instal Metatrader 4 software
  • Click “View” and then “Symbols” on the top navigation window, or simply press Ctrl + U on your computer. This shows the assets listed in the platform.
  • Click on the + sign beside ‘Crypto’

MT4 can be used to trade only if the exchange offers it. MetaTrader requires special infrastructure and you cannot use it with any exchange you want. But there are few out there to choose from.

MT4 and MT5 are software trading platforms provided by MetaQuotes Software Corp. When your exchanges/brokers make a deal with them, you will be able to use those software for your trading based on accounts maintained with those exchanges/brokers.

I mean to say you cannot set up yourself anything for getting ready for trading in MT4. The connection (server) information along with account credential should be provided by your exchange.

I have the same question. You list is nice but it does not show if the service provider is supporting MetaTrader. I used Metatrader for ForexTrading and I would like to use it for crypto trading (Bitcoin and altcoins) as well, but I could not find a service yet. I mainly trade on 1Broker and as far as I know it does not support any external trading tool  Undecided

The best Forex brokers who work with Bitcoin you can find here. All normal Forex brokers have MT4:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/trading-forex-with-bitcoin-depositwithdraw-716530

there is not any Forex Broker which doesn't have MetaTrader.
As of right now all forex borkers have MetaTrader. I prefer MT4 though since its the platform I have the most experience in using.

I have a problem understanding what you said, sorry. MT4 is MetaTrader; the fourth version. every broker has the fourth version. the fifths is not much used, because it has some restrictions

I think btc-e.com exchange is also offering bitcoin trading on MT4 platform with 1:3 leverage

How do I integrate btc-e into the MT4 program? Can you explain a little bit?
Have you have ever used MT4 platform for any type of trading ? When you logging in using the credentials provided by your broker (here is btc-e) and when you are choosing their server link, you will be automatically integrating and getting all set to be ready for trading.

It is always advisable to use broker providing trading platform instead of using others. Because, I guess due to this reason, you are getting confusion on integrating problems.

I have not use the MT4 platform yet. I will use as soon time.
Are there other trading sites that can integrate with MT4, other than BTC-e?

like I said above, check this thread out: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/trading-forex-with-bitcoin-depositwithdraw-716530

btc-e is colaboration and use system in fxopen

is real bitcoin trading in metatrader 4

1 fxopen
2 justforex
3 my.myfxchoice.com
4 simplefx

if you want high leverage but much people bitcoiner not recomended you can try in instaforex
Metatrade4 is one of the oldest trading platform and if bitcoin leverage or margin services providers' want to succeed in their business they  have to synchronize their system with metatrade4 platform. Though most bitcoin trading sites and others altcoins such as poloniex, peeve, yobit has a very nice technical indicators: Yet you cannot compared it to matatrade platform.
