here escrow is mostly used in dealing for any service or for any purchase and for trading also but it will be better that you use most trusted exchanges for your trade so you will not need any other person to come in trade for security.

Above said all the procedure is correct but in this one more point is to use the escrow service from the reputed ones and before taking their services just confirm their terms and conditions because recently saw that in one escrow condition is that if one of the party default then until the problem is settled the escrow wont release the fund and that will be lying with the escrow provider. So before using escrow service first confirm their terms and condition and after going through thoroughly then take their service

Hello.

I heard about Escrow a few days ago and I dont know how to use it on trading. Can you please give me brief information about that ?

This is just my view about in escrows, If you have something that you like to sell in trading like one of the altcoins there must be someone who will stand as escrow will be the one who will receive the payment on his bitcoin wallet address then once He receive the payment He will gonna send it to the seller which is you. An escrow is basically a middleman , after agreeing on the terms :

1. Buyer sends the funds to the escrow.
2. Seller send the goods/services to the buyer
3. Buyer confirms that he received what both parties agreed to.
4. Escrow release funds to the seller.

We have an escrow list on the forums , so if you are doing any transactions here It's recommended to use one of them as escrow for your protection : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcointalk-escrows-trade-safely-855778

This is all right, escrow is the one who will monitor hold the fund of the coin owner or seller at the same time. And all the investment of the investors in the coin will be see in the escrow address, then you will find the address that you used for the investment. just like a blockchain  but doesn't.

Thank you so much for this useful information . I am thinking of buying some digital goods. So can I use one of escrows in that list and what is the fee for escrow ?

Yes but you should first send them a P.M and tell them If they accept escrowing whatever you are going to buy. Fees are mentioned on that thread , some escrow do it for helping the community (zero fees) and check the ANN thread for more details.

Thanks alot.
