I did not know amazon accepts bitcoin? Well at least not in the UK.
Nope, Amazon doesn't accept bitcoin. However services like Gyft allows you to purchase gift cards.

If you are in the UK I would try out pock.io for buying amazon UK gift cards.

The way to buy from amazon is to buy a Amazon gift card with btc from a vendor like cryfter or something. You can find giftcards on the site for 95%-75% of face value at times but be weary as they may be purchased with stolen Credit cards.

As far as I know Amazon.com doesn't support Bitcoin payments.

More and more webshops accept Bitcoin yes, just a matter of time till the larger known companies will follow.

Shop with your Bitcoin Wink
There are so many websites that accept Bitcoin as their normal payment method, such as Bitsbuy.com, overstock.com & Amazon.com. It would be much easier than the traditional payments and almost no charge fee is needed.

I have once purchase on bitsbuy.com and I would like to share my happy shopping experience here. Totally it spent me about 12 minutes to finish my shopping.
Firstly I spent about 10 minutes to choose my item, it is a coat.
I added it to my cart, clicked the Checkout button and submitted my order.
I saw a QR code. After I scanned it, the payment was finished.
All this cost me only about 2 minutes.

As this currency is emerging so fast now, more and more websites are beginning to accept Bitcoin payments. Recently, Mozilla, a popular Firefox browser & non-profit organization, has also accepted Bitcoin as its donation payment method.

As a loyal Bitcoin believer, I deeply believe that it will sooner or later become one of the most popular currencies. How much do you know about it? Huh
