ASC file contains the PGP signature. You have to fetch PGP key of the developer who signs it, signature and app. Then, you can verify app using a PGP software!

See https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/resolved-how-can-i-check-the-integrity-and-authenticity-of-wallet-install-file-1094700.

Edit: https://www.torproject.org/docs/verifying-signatures.html.en explains it clearly.

Both links was pretty helpful , thank you so much Zakir Grin Appreciate the help

I prefer Zakir over Muhammed when mentioning me!

Someone suggested me to add this on my thread right here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.12161270
but I don't really know how to exactly check the downloads if they are legit or not , I most of the time just download with no questions asked (I know , not the best way) .
I know that there is that ASC file but not sure what I'am supposed to do with that .
So if anyone could tell me how , I prefer fully explained with details post so I link it to my [EDU] topic directly .
