It seems there are many people right now scam by dealing with someone and receive testnet coins just like what happened to my son recently. I thought that he has a big amount of ETH on his metamask wallet he ask me how to withdraw them and found out that it is in the kovan network which is the testnet.

So if you have the same fate don't waste your time it doesn't have any value but if your purpose is to use the testnet coins for developing or something that you want for testing then check this guide below on how to send them.

The guide is for mainnet but like the above said there's no difference just make sure that you will send it to another testnet wallet so that you'll receive it where you want to send it.

help needed to withdraw from the electrum testnet wallet?
There's no way you haven't seen this message at least once since it's configured to display in testnet mode:

(unless in the next sessions if the checkbox is ticked)

Read this TheBitcoinWiki article to know more about "testnet": en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Testnet

I'm not sure I understand what you mean - or understand - by withdrawing.
If you want to transfer between wallets - it works like normal bitcoin, just the addresses look a bit different.
If you want to send to an exchange and sell for fiat - well, that's not an option because testnet coins are not valuable (they are for free), hence exchanges don't offer deposit addresses on testnet blockchain (which is also different than main blockchain)

You can see testnet similar to a different coin that worth nothing.

Hope you know that testnet is not mainnet and not real bitcoin. You can not send from testnet to mainnet or mainnet to testnet.

It works like normal Electrum, only that you are dealing with testnet coin which is not the actual bitcoin.

On the GUI, click on send and follow the process.

Be careful of scammers, testnet is not mainnet. Bitcoin addresses starts from bc1, 3 or 1.
