If you want to check the miner program then set up your firewall software to log its every connection and then calculate the time EWBF's mining for you. In case of the pool, do the output of the miner into the file and then compare quantity of shares found (in file) and shares recived (in pool's statistics).

And as was mentoned above, possible earning calculations are very approximated.

personally...i have mined on  ocminer's pools for years and  in my eyes he has offered the community a very valuable resource. i dont feel there could even be a small shortcoming from him and if something does slip by i have seen his actions in rectifying thing very gracefully.
he is an outstanding persona in the bitcoin world!

Ok so I'm a bit daft. I thought Z address meant zcash wallet.   Shocked  It's just the more private wallet!

Also, you were right bathrobehero, I had gotten an auto payments I wasn't calculating... Just over 0.08.

So cancel this thread, sorry to have cast suspicion or our kind developers!!

Why is flypool not an option?

They currently won't pay out in zec, so they may be an option soon though.

@bathrobehero Thanks, my hashrate at the pool is higher, like unreasonable so, around 980 average, not getting paid for that though.

Flypool pays zec!! http://zcash.flypool.org

http://whattomine.com/ says my earnings will vary between 0.10 and 0.11 which is bang on, Suprnova has less luck than Flypool so payout will vary.

Never had an issue with Suprnova pools and I'm sure if you reached out to ocmner you'll be able to get a bit more clarity, I wouldn't think there would be anything untoward happening.

I rarely use pools (I prefer solomining if I can) but the owner of suprnova pools (ocminer) is a very trusted member around here.

The problem with profit calculations is that they are based off of a snapshot of the difficulty at the time ignoring that difficulty can vary wildly causing your profit to vary wildly.

And sometimes there are some miner softwares that don't work perfectly with certain pools and you don't see your full hashrate on the pool. Did you check your reported hashrate on suprnova?

As far as I know the unconfirmed balance could have been caused by two things; some of it became confirmed and got paid to you or there was a couple of orphan blocks mined.

So my wife and I turned our gtx 1070 to mine zcash. I wanted to get paid in zcash so nicehash and flypool weren't options. I have EWBF's 0.2.0b and I'm using zec.suprnova. The combined hashpower of both workers is about 815 sols/sec. I know each take a small percentage, 2% for the miner and 1% for the pool. According to the calculators, I should be getting between 0.08-0.09 zec per 24 hours. After 24 I've got 0.54 zec. That's a huge discrepancy. At first I thought it must be a PPLNS payout system and I'll make up the margins soon, but when I read the faq, it says PPS payout system. There is no accounting for the 30-40% missing zec!

Anyone that can shed some light on this?

Edit: Oh and the wife checked it this afternoon and she said she saw 0.05 unconfirmed. By the time I got home from work it was 0.034, so not sure what's happening there.
