Don't listen to her. If bitcoin dropped to $200 during Easter (family time, not during church), I would buy one on my phone.

The western exchanges still follow the Chinese around like a dog on a leash so there influence is not waning in the slightest.

The Chinese's ability to control the market has been waning and is now a mere footnote. A new announcement/rumor coming out of China barely registers any more. Most of the weak hands have folded in the US, Europe and even in China. Hodlers are the bulwark against the manipulators. We have now entered the market equilibrium.
The Chinese control this market. Western holidays are almost irrelevant, just look at what happened around Christmas.

Not much will happen. A major player (the US) is out to frolick with the Easter Bunny. Btc price will drop/gain by $5. A collective yawn will be shared by all.
In the past, holidays have impacted btc prices (somewhat but noticeably - Chinese new year etc).
