"Well deary, this is like money, you can buy stuff with it, but its like, over the internet. So huh, as far as you're concerned it's the same thing as just money so err yeah, it work like through computers and stuff instead of err, banks and stuff(?)"

I mean, a 5 Years old can't conceptualize anyways and they tend to be like. "Oh you need money? Well i guess you should go to the ATM to get more then!" Would be nice if it worked that way lol.

hee-ho.
kindergartener don't need to learn about money yet. so I'll just say "it's too early for you, son." until he's at least 3rd grade or something.

i wouldnt even try to explain it to a little kid as they usually dont understand what money is

This is a good point.  Make sure they understand fiat money.  I would teach basic savings account.  How you can have an account and add or subtract money from it.

Then I would find some nice videos to back it up.  Then go into digital money and try to show it in a very very basic way.  Many parts of it for that age might be to big of concept.

Bitcoin can be a little confusing, so how would you simplify it so even a kid can understand?
