The best way to give them out is hand to hand.
This technique is going to make more impact in letting people know about cryptocurrencies. People will ask you what is it and you will have the chance to sparkle their interest instanly. If you just give them a sticker without saying anything they will not understand the message behind this sticker.

I'm just interested in how YOU would give away a shitton of free stickers?!

I give away stickers and things that people give me to anyone who orders things from https://nastyfans.org/mint or on the forum from me directly (when supplies are available).  I also stick them on our community outreach board and at spots like bars or hangouts where stickers are accepted and commonly placed.

If I had a ton of stickers I was trying to hand out, I would likely stand outside the gates of an event (Spring Training games pre-Covid is a perfect example) and hand them out to anyone that wants one.  With a team of a couple people doing multiple games in Phoenix, you could probably give away 20,000+ stickers in a single day.  Other ideas I've used to give away goods IRL are putting items in geocaching locations, asking employees at head shops or convenience stores to hand them out with purchases, or just give them away on the forum here as you are doing.  Grabbing one of those door to door advertisers and giving him a few extra bucks to add your stickers to their handouts probably wouldn't be a bad idea either for cheap distribution.

Why do you want us to use those stickers?

What will we do with those stickers as they are not for a good cause but promote your website?

Why waste them device a strategy and then think of promoting them in the right way.

A true brand hating anarcist cunt would just get a pair of scissors and cut off the brand!!!

*Stick it to the man* Fuck you FreeBitcoins.com (or whoever)!  Tongue Cool Roll Eyes

(totally doable if you want to be an asshole! haha [Gosh you could actually get two stickers out of each sticker, just cut the Free and .com... that'd leave you with a BTC and "Bitcoins" sticker! ])

Have a load of coin sized stickers printed, and stick them on a load of assorted coins in a bag. Then use those coins to purchase groceries in supermarkets, and pay at the do-it-yourself tills. Hopefully the coins will be recycled, and dispensed to shoppers who use cash for purchases.

I believe it's illegal to modify currency.  Also, those coins would jam up modern sorting machines / self-serve checkouts..

Throwing coins out of airplanes?   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHxvMLoKRWg

Note to self:  We CAN throw pennies our of airplanes as advertising and be reasonably safe.  Grin

I knew making this thread would be worth it.

That's an interesting idea about taping advertising to coins though... Offtopic: I have a feeling the United States is going to do away with coins in the near future.

Is it illegal to put emboss a bill?  (it just raises the surface of the paper with no ink)  I believe it would be covered by the First Amendment...  We could absolutely throw paper out of planes safely.

Stickers are not the way to spread info about crypto currencies.

It makes me SUPER happy to see a Bitcoin-related sticker in the wild.  Regardless of what brand sponsored it. Tongue

Well you aren't really modifying the coins. The sticker could be peeled off fairly easily.

I guess it does keep hundreds of people employed - cleaning coins that jam up machines.  Smiley

This idea is not originated by me. I have received coins advertising a local disco in the change dispensed by a local supermarket.
