The HTC Exodus 1 is built with the decentralized idea of blockchain in mind. The Exodus 1 comes with 6GB Ram, a top-shelf Snapdragon 845 processor and a 16MP dual rear camera. The main concept of this is blockchain which is something new and could be a wild experiment as well!

Blockchain is one part of bitcoin.  Decentralization is another.

A blockchain does not necessarily need to be decentralized.  Smiley

It is very easy to get the phone lost indeed, sometimes even while is unlocked. Rather than for storing private keys would have been cool an easy to use integrated wallet to hold a moderate amount of funds, so anyone buying the phone has a wallet ready to use without much trouble.

For years there was rumors that samsung was going to produce smartphone which would support bitcoin and crypto in idea, then there was rumor that they would create phone which would be ok for mining... Is any of these released? None, seems HTC did a first step in it and introduced smartphone which supports crypto and blockchain technologies. Personally I have no idea what BC has to do with smartphone, would be good if anyone explains...

The HTC Exodus 1 is built with the decentralized promise of blockchain in mind. It, like Brave, hopes to restore the ownership of personal data back to individuals. For cryptocurrency owners, the phone will store private keys in a secure enclave on the phone called Zion.

I'm not sure if crypto enthusiasts will love to store their private keys in a phone. Personally, I don't store any personal data on my phone, I'm a bit paranoid about it and I would rather get a hardware wallet specially in your going to hodl huge amount of coins. Everything in crypto is not safe specially if you're always connected online, so I have a mix emotions on how secure and save Zion is.
