Personally I think this says it all about this site.

12. Force Majeure
12.1. Bitmain Affiliates is exempted from fulfilling its obligations under this Agreement and is entitled to cancel the Purchaser confirmed orders without any liability, in the event of force majeure such as strikes, floods and fires, wars, riots, interruptions in transport, shortage of material or energy sources affecting Bitmain Affiliates or its sub-suppliers, accidents or other occurrences which affects sub-suppliers production, bankruptcy or compulsory liquidation of a sub-supplier, accidents of any kind, governmental decisions which affects manufacturing or use of the Products and, in general, such events that were unforeseen at the time of the order which prevents or hinder manufacturing, transportation or delivery of the Products to the Purchaser.

Taken from the website itself in the terms and conditions.
This gives them any excuse they desire to cancel your order and not return your funds.

I found the site on Craigslist, and offered by mail to go pay in person.  The listing was from the Kingston, Ontario, Canada Craigslist site.  We will see what they have to say lol.  I expect no reply, or "sorry, we can not meet in person but just send your BTC!

They were on Craigslist in my area as well.

Anyone heard of or bought from this company?

http://bitmain-affiliation.com

They are advertising S9's as "in stock" for ~$1600 with decent delivery times. Sounds suspicious to me.

The site is newly registered with no contact email nor contact phone. You guys should stay away from this kind of sites popping like mushrooms. Its easy to register, just copy pictures from bitmain website and walla, they have already a scam website waiting for unsuspecting victim. Just buy from the source itself, bitmain so that you don't have any doubts about who you are dealing with.

Most likely a scam.

Even if it's legit, why wouldn't you just purchase from the actual official retailer instead of taking on this risk? Absolutely not worth it in my opinion as you are paying with a non-reversible method and you're not going to be protcetd by anyone.

If you look at recent threads in service discussions you'll see a ton of new sites selling miners at cheap prices. None of them have been legit.

Op, this is one more scam site to avoid. It is just like Potato Chips said - it is more than likely this is a smelly scam site.
If something is too good to be true then in most cases it's a scam - especially in bitcoin world where you never get your coins back no matter what.

It seems like sites like this are getting popular. But anyways, here we go!

The site is newly created with no reviews
Reviews on their site are all fake (The stated dates we're earlier than the site's registration date)
Only bitcoin is accepted (Irreversible payment method)
Unsecured connection (The information you entered can easily leak)

In conclusion to that, It's undoubtedly a scam site. Just buy from bitmain.
