I can say that you are almost guaranteed to lose playing there. The odds are around ~30% double your bet, 70% lose.

It's that bad.

Candystripes, your posts in this thread are borderline, it looks like voluntary FUD, and while some other FUDsters here are clearly trolling or being angry because they lost at one point, we thought you at least were a capable person when it comes to gambling and very simple odds.
Aren't you working for a competitor?

Mathematically, the odds are better than 98.24% on every game.

-snip-

It is just like how some players look for lower risk and prefer to play 90% bets on dice sites, while some look for higher potential profit and prefer to play 1% bets. The house edge % are the same, but the risk and return are different.

It is very likely you are going to lose most of your red bets on LB, but if you win, you could get a great profit.

If you really want to play safe, why gamble?
So it is luckybit red or nothing for me.  Grin

Mathematically, the odds are better than 98.24% on every game.

However, experience differs due to variance. Some folks have huge luck and others have the opposite; same as any other game. There are also multiple approaches to probability, and one in particular helps demonstrate why Lucky Bit in particular gives some people such a negative impression.

Consider that the odds of hitting the very edge win are 1 in 32768. Well, if you don't plan on playing 16,000 bets you can basically assume that for your instance, the odds are actually zero. They aren't, of course, and that's the fun, but when evaluating an expected return, it's a safe estimation. The same logic can actually be applied on down the outer bets: the second payout has 1 in 2048 odds so if you don't have 1,000 bets in the forecast you can safely assume you won't hit that slot. Striking the third slot from the forecast is appropriate for less than a few hundred bets, which describes most players. So what you do is calculate the game odds without the fringe wins to come up with a "reasonable expectation" for a lower number of bets, and the answer is actually quite surprising.

For blue and green, striking the outer bets impacts the expected return by less than 1%. The big impact from playing these lines comes from the bitcoin network fee on small bets.
For yellow there is a notable drop in the expected return using this method; a few hundred bets can expect more than 90% returns.
For red the drop is significant. The expected return is under 85% for less than 1,000 bets and below 50% for a dozen bets.

Let me re-iterate that. Your expected return on a dozen bets on red is less than 50%. Notice that should any of that dozen bets hit one of the outer 3 slots it's a guaranteed double-up or better, and a single x9 landing paired with any non-x0.2 hit is a profit, for that same dozen bets. The chances of either of these scenarios is actually higher than your intuition might suggest, and we didn't even include the more-common profit instances of several x2/x4 landings within a given dozen bets. But hitting all x0.2 is not uncommon either; there's a very high expected variance within those dozen bets. Variance means bigger winners and losers - and that's why the game feels harder to win than it is. Anyone that's won 30BTC probably doesn't think Lucky Bit has bad odds - it's all perception when it comes to this sort of thing, and there really isn't a mathematical model for how a game feels. when i bet red i am ready to lose 80% of 80% of my bets... the other 20%.... whoooo knows...

wow, quite a big storm around .. I apologize for my words, I might have had a bad day, but I did not expect that at this forum are only the winners ..  Shocked

For the word "thiefs" - sorry - was not fair!

Edit: Big SORRY! Was VERY not fair! I should to know what im doing.. just my fault nothing more..

We all some times have a bad days... i remember the day i lost 0.4 on Satoshi bones with a martingale, i was mad and talking realy bad about the site, but i understand that game was fair.

But in the moment dont feel good to lose that money  Embarrassed
I don't think it is a good idea to use martingale with any blockchain based dice sites as the TX fees will encourage you to start with a large bet + the TX fees will eat away at your potential winnings.

I have made a similar mistake and have learned my lesson, and will generally only try martingale on actual "site" dice sites.

I remember that day, i start with 0.02 and all day win all runs on that x2.5... at night i got 0.4 and think, lets do the last one before go to sleep... i lose every single bet, was like 10 or 12 consecutive bets and i see how my wallet go from 0.4 to 0.0 it was a hard leason to me.

Now i dont bet on dice, i think Luckybit, Poker and Sports are better for bet than Dice. But i know some gamblers who make nice profits on dice sites.
Well that can happen on any dice site as that is the nature of martingale. However like I said above the fact that you were using a "blockchain" dice site meant that your initial bet had to be bigger so you would potentially be losing a larger amount of money quickly in the event that you had a big loosing streak like the one you described Sad

If your bankroll is 100x your starting bet then you can only survive a 7 run loosing streak, and a more then 500x bankroll of your starting bet to survive a 10 run loosing streak.

Luckybit is legit and I don't have any problem with it. I don't play a lot there though, because the tx fee adds up to be a small issue for me. Smiley

tx in fees becomes an issue, only when you wager less than 0.002, as the payout might just be the txin fees. However, when you wager a higher bet, then it is hardly an issue.

The problem is smaller for larger bets, but it is still considerable.
For example to play a 0.01 bet, I need to pay 2 * 0.0001 tx fee which is 2% of my bet.

Wait, you talking smack to a site just because you didnt win anything there doesnt mean the site is scam.
If you are accusing them to be a scam site, why don't you provide more proof?
Post some screenshots or what.

Please, tell me where i call someone a scammer? I have a feeling that you call people like that.. I'm included..

Well, you did call them thieves, right? That being the case, it's your duty to present some sort of proof - or at the very least, take seoincorporation's offer to analyze your bet.

Don't have problem with that.. But you call them thieves - not me - right?
Absolutely, YES. You called us "thefts". This is your sentence... "maybe the best for owners - thefts" isn't?? Do you have any proof??? so be with me in some lines...:

LB always appreciated, appreciating and will appreciate feedbacks, but not accusations... i am wondered how you can easily open a thread against other sites and accuse them without any evidence... i am oldest moderator of LB and one of the oldest members too, but in this 1 year never got such feedbacks (accusations) like yours, you are opening this thread because you lost some money there...in gambling?? right??? So there is a place who called GAMBLING... do you know what does mean GAMBLING??? it means that you may lose or win there... there is no guarantee that you lose or win (this is gambling in short words), absolutely we cleared everything in our agreement, we said that PLEASE PLAY RESPONSIBLY...THIS IS GAMBLING, but i think you never cared to that agreement letter and clicked on "I Agree". This your sentence is really funny "You want to lose - go there!" do you know why?? because i am feeling that you know GAMBLING as a safe place to invest and because this, you are expecting to win always and be in profit, but this is totally "FALSE", if you can't afford losing on gambling (Not only LB but everywhere) do not play, at all, as also LB is provably fair and you can check your bets too. For sure i will report this to moderators for accusing of being thieve to a highly trusted gambling site with you and without any proof and just by this reason... "I lost on gambling"...heh. I hope they do an appropriate action against this and i hope you get a deep understand of GAMBLING after it.

Provide your proofs before accusing someone.
You might get negative trust by doing that.
Yup, you should keep this in mind. Its one thing to not like a site, and tell people to not play there, But its another to tell people that the site is a scam. Definitely not worth getting a negative trust on your senior account. If you do have any kind of proof suggesting those drops were not fair, you should post them .

http://luckyb.it/ - the worst gambling place i ever seen.. or maybe the best for owners - thefts

You want to lose - go there!

I just wanted to know if anyone out there won?

I'm sure that's impossible.. just save your kids..
Its less likely to win something, as you have a higher chance of winning something in dice for the same probability, but its more fun for people, and if they are fine and aware of it, you shouldn't be worried. How much did you lose there?

You can check every bet to verify it

WOW !! Show me i'm liar and we can talk about that..

Hi kotwica666.

Im moderator at luckybit, and im 100% sure LuckyBit is a provably fair game. In the page you can see it in "Menu > Provably Fair". There you will find this:

Quote
Lucky Bit is provably fair!
This is how it works:

The key that LuckyBit uses to determine the "lucky moves" of a bet, and thus the winning amount, is changed every day;
The key of a given day is made public after midnight of the next day;
The respective hashes of all keys, past and future, have been published and prove that LuckyBit uses the correct key for each day;
Nobody can modify this file, as its hash is recorded in the blockchain as of 10th of September, 2013;
You can verify each bet in the bet browser, which is also accessible at the bottom of the main page.

Need more technical details?
Your lucky moves are determined using a hash of the following string:

::, where:

is the transaction id of your bet as assigned by your wallet. (This data is controlled by you.)
is the rank of the output of your bet within the transaction's list of outputs. (Rank starts at 0 and is controlled by you.) This produces different lucky moves for each bet if you play several bets within a single transaction.
is the secret key of the day. It is unknown to you at the time of playing, but the hashes of all keys have been are published in advance, so nobody can modify these keys. The day of your bet is determined by the moment LuckyBit receives your bet's transaction. (Typically 1 to 10 seconds after you sent it.)

From the hash of ::, LuckyBit takes the binary representation of the last 4 bytes and read it from the left side. The bits determine your lucky moves: A 1 translates to a right move, a 0 to a left move. For instance, if the hexadecimal hash ends with ffff, your coin would always go right as the binary string would contain sixteen 1 and no 0

You can easily verify that your lucky moves were correct by computing the hash of the string :: of your bet. There are many websites that allow you to do this, for example:

http://www.convertstring.com/en/Hash/SHA256
http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator

The key of each day is made public after midnight (UTC). LuckyBit can prove that nobody changed this key afterwards because the hashes of all keys, past and future, have been published in this file: http://luckyb.it/secret-key-hashes.txt

The file that contains all key hashes has itself the following hash:
e45fb03ae911b267615bc923803bc553adb0e3dd6c9e47c939073f30ec912a63

You can compute the hash of this file as follows (on Linux/Mac):
curl -s http://luckyb.it/secret-key-hashes.txt | shasum -a 256 -t

Using the hash of this file as a bitcoin private key, it produces the following bitcoin address: 1L85BxKU6J169kM934PQyV52maHmE86cFc. We have sent a transaction to this address on the 10/09/2013 (included in block 257126). You can verify this on blockchain.info

Note: All hashes are SHA-256 (text mode).
It is our primary concern to be helpful and responsive, please contact us at [email protected] if you have any remark or question.

If you want, please post the tx id of your bets and i will prove the site was not cheating, it was your bad luck.

I recomend you to give a second chance to Luckyb.it maybe next time you will have better luck.

Have a great day.

Just wait 24 hours until the daily secret day is announced, and then you can calculate the sha256 yourself and verify the bets.

This site is great and fun. What reason do you have to feel you lost unfairly?

You can prove all bets were played fairly via the bet browser with your address.
