it seems that this is a case of a slow response from namecheap.com since bitrefill claimed that they did send a request to Namecheap.com regarding about the trademark infringement of bitrefills.com

-snip
it would be nice to have evidence to support your claim but it is your choice whether to show it or not.

https://www.bitrefill.com is a legitimate site where you can purchase things with Crypto.  https://www.bitrefills.com seems to be a scam.  I accidentally used https://www.bitrefills.com and never reviewed the gift card and after contacting https://www.bitrefill.com they seemed very complacent and just said to contact https://www.bitrefills.com.  Why would they not stop someone from using there name to scam people? If you look at the screen shot of the so called fake website.  https://www.bitrefills.com support link clearly says [email protected] yet they emailed me asking that I reach out to the other website which is impossible since the support link points back to [email protected]  By not stopping this they are hurting overall acceptance of Crypto....

Hello, we are sorry that this happened to you, the first response you got was from a new Agent that didn't think about that site being a scam. Below is the status of this issue from our lawyer, please help us report that webpage as scam to Namecheap as they are taking a lot of time to investigate.

we have, on December 11, 2020, sent a request to Namecheap, the host of www.bitrefills.com, to take down the website, based on trademark infringement and potential scamming intentions.
We have received a reply stating: "Please be assured that we will investigate the matter you reported and take action based on the results of our investigation. Please also be aware that, while Namecheap investigates every complaint, we cannot always respond with the results of the investigation and your ticket might be closed accordingly."

We follow this procedure for every similar website we find to be infringing our trademark or attempting to scam our customers.
We have been waiting for a reply and action on their part, and we are following the situation closely. We are naturally sorry to hear that you have been the victim of their scamming attempts.

This fake bitrefill site has 17 results which are too low to get rank on Google and it does not share everywhere.

And every keyword you use on Google that has "Bitrefill" at the end, it always shows the original site as ads in Google that I think it's impossible to reach this clone website or find this by searching through Google.

So how did you found this clone website?

Most of the backlinks are from domain checker which is free to get a link and help the site get indexed on Google and I investigate more using some SEO tools. According to Ahrefs, it has two backlinks from this site below.

Code:

It seems that the owner has two domains but this one used for redirection directly to the clone website.

What you used is a phishing site. bitrefill.com are not complacent because they have no control over all the domain names. Anyone can purchase any domain, so you shouldn't blame bitrefill

You should however be much more careful when dealing with online transactions and deals because such phishing and scam sites are very common here.

The domain was recently registered (~1 month ago). Report them to namecheap.com for impersonation fraud so that they can be taken down.
