If one thinks he can withdraw EURO easily out of Gox, he is plain wrong. All withdrawals of 1,000 euro and above are getting seriously delayed.

RUM AND CARROTS: A PIRATE LIFE FOR ME
1. Buy BTC on bitstamp
2. Sell on MtGox
3. Huh (Withdraw EUR)
4. Profit!!

Good luck waiting for your SEPA transfer to arrive.

Yep. I was thinking the same- except you can't get your money out of gox right now. So I'm tempted to sell at GOX, but then whats the point? I can't get the money back out right now. I think this price disparity will last for another two weeks. As long as withdrawls are on hold at gox people will need to sell at Bitstamp and accept whatever price BTC sellers demand at gox.

my tactic: just buying BTC on the cheap @bitstamp and waiting for when the arbitrage kicks in. I have my automatic sell orders ready Wink Wink

You can do this with USD as well, but not in circles, and this is why the other exchanges will follow Mt. Gox upward.
