Well, perhaps more believable story would be "a huge dump is incoming" - since EAC is heavily premined, this would be actually quite likely and could have actually triggered a panic sell, allowing to buy EAC at a discount before it gets back to normal.

Could be that the original poster does not really care what the effect would be - if this "panic message" causes people to buy like crazy, he'll sell some EAC and later re-buys them with profit. If the price drops because of people quickly dumping, he'll buy at discount and sell later once the price goes back.

And I see EAC at 120 satoshis ... should have sold ALL of it, while it had at least some value ...

Or possibly, by telling people to prepare for a pump, it means others will buy lots of EAC, raising the price so you can dump it.

Just an alternative point of view. I don't quite see what's in it for you in announcing a pump. The only reason to pump is to dump.

But hey, maybe I'm wrong, and if I am, it is indeed entirely my loss.
