For let's say 1$ how many hours you need to spend on some faucet sites it's a time waste imo.

yea better you join sign campaign Huh im i right ? Smiley
but faucet give you more spirit to hardwork

Yeah you right, signature campaign so good especially if you have high rank and like posting. But some newbie/new about bitcoin also like faucets because they still new but they will understand that faucets are really wasting time.

Unless you got a huge referral which will provide you steady stream of satoshi even after you stopped playing the faucet.. Grin

I'll still get sucked into the random faucet here or there, but NEVER those goddamn 'faucets' requiring e-mail signups or promises of 'weekly payouts' - those types of sites take FAR too much effort for WAY too little reward.

I think you`re right faucets reward you with so little amounts you have to be stupid to believe you earn some money by claiming the satoshi`s from there. But sometimes it`s even fun to visit these sites and for me it has been a good lesson in how to send and get BTC. How to create and use a web wallet and things like that. It was my start into the Bitcoin ecosphere. And of course it was good out of my perspective that I didn`t need to pay for directly. By the way I`ve made an Account at Mr.Gox the first time when I got in Contact to Bitcoins but never used it cause of the lang period they needed to prove my identity. I`m still happy about that when I see what happend to other Mr.Gox Users.

These faucets are so ridiculous and overly complicated for such a low amount, I'll stick with LTC and DASH faucets in the meantime Grin

...unless anyone knows of simple btc faucets that pay more than a couple hundred as seen here...

So you know of good LTC and DASH faucets? I have searched for good altcoin faucets but they are always even less profitable than regular Bitcoin faucets.

I will be glad if you shared your faucets, or PM'ed me Cheesy

earn free satoshi (3000-2000-1000)/hour !!! http://yourdailyfaucets.webstarts.com/

Satoshi makes it sound like more then it really is.  I don't think everyone realizes how small a satoshi is.  Eac is approx 0.0024237 usd.  So lets say you win all 3k and are up 24 hours a day.  You would make a little over 17 cent's if you did this ALL DAY.

When you look at it this way I think it's not really worth it.  Just too small, and you wont get the 3k satoshi every hour most likely it will be lesser amount.

Could you add http://talkera.org/microfaucet to the list?

How big is the faucet here?

It states on the left hand side that the reward is 100 satoshi (50%) and 50 satoshi (50%), every 30 minutes.

Is there any site that offers bigger than this?

Check out this site : landofbitcoin
It keeps a list of 100+ bitcoin faucets with satoshi reward for each site. There is also a bitcoin earning list on home page of the site.

Just keep in mind you have to register to visit links provided with it this site.

Yup there are a dozen faucets paying more than that, such as freebitco.in and moonbit.
But IMHO, the amount you can get from them is still too low and you should spend your time on other things.

Like how much? Ive heard that freebitco.in is kind of a scam site? Is that true?

No, I've got a payment from them, before when I was using it, had no problems. Just don't use that btc multyplier.

the faucet bitcoin is a good way to earn free bitcoins but in terms of time its not so profitable.

And so it is in fact a bad way, considering that you can get a lot more bitcoin from sig campaigns or by working for fiat and then exchanging your wages for bitcoin.

I've been using faucets for a long time ut rarely found any that is good and worth doing.

Quote
I've posted this some time ago.

First of all this can get you a fair amount of free bitcoins if you are patient, so don't expect to get rich of it, it's still free btc so let's grab as much as we can.

Second, we will be combining a few sites to max the profit.

-freebitco.in   ( freebitco.in )   this site can payout really high amount but you'll need to have a few referals in order to do so, but it's still one with the best and comfirmed payouts

-dailybitcoins.org ( dailybitcoins.org ) This is one of my favorite btc sites. Request a payment every hour, try to unleast, to recieve a payment and a VOUCHER. Now, redeem those vouchers and you can later sell them at Peerbet.org (just type in hte chat @voucher and paste your voucher code) or you can advertise with those vouchers. It is good to combine freebitco.in with coinurl and then put that shortened link, so you also get btc when someone views your ad

-Coinurl.com ( Coinurl.com ) great site if you have your blog or a website or in a combination with dailybitcoins. Don't have anything else much to say about this

-CoinAd.com ( CoinAd.com ) My favorite site. Very simple PTC faucet with a fairly high payouts that you can earn in 2-3 days (payouts take some time). Strongly Recomend this one

-bitcrate.me and coinbox.me   ( bitcrate.me )  ( coinbox.me )  Best colection of faucets, you can hit the minimum withdraw within a few hours and payouts are farely fast, every 6 hours I think. I also STRONGLY recomend these two

This is my list, it got me a first few thousand satoshis before I got here. I really would NOT recommend faucets but use them untill your rank is high enough for some campaigns.

I Just Started My Own Bitcoin Faucet - http://moneyinpjs.com/BTCfaucet  Grin

You can win up to 3,000 satoshi once per day.

Enjoy  Wink
Just once in 24 hours is not going to work you need to bring down time then hope you have some users for this

Why not, he has to limit the amount he gives a away or he won't make a decent buck. How do you (operator of the faucet) fund the faucet? Do you use your own money or BTC? Do you sell ads?

At the very first few days, you need to pay from your own money. After running the faucet for some time and getting a good traffic, you can start selling ads with http://adbit.co or https://a-ads.com.

Some site also offers to complete a survey for free bitcoins.

Not again the faucets! The community needs to let go of the faucets. They just don't give you a significant amount of BTC! People just waste their precious time on them and get a few cent in return, that's not nice, man!

No, please avoid faucets! They don't give you a lot! It's just wasting our time. You're barely making $1 and hour, I guess even less. This is below minimum wage. You could just go and do some real job instead! Faucets don't pay off!

You have forgot http://freebitco.in/ (referral removed)

You forgot: referral spam is against the forum laws

And I think they left freebitcoin because they feared people would bitch because the gambling stuff
I think that suckering others to use faucets via referrals is the only real way to make any kind of money with faucets. I personally find this very unethical as you are basically getting other people to waste their time on a faucet.
I would doubt that even this would not be profitable, unless you spam your referral link like crazy. You only get a small percentage of your referrals' earnings so even if you had say 100 referrals you would only earn 5x~ of what you would usually earn (max) using the faucet yourself, which is still very little.

That depends on which site you are talking about.
Sites like freebitco.in offer 50% ref earning, and so you can get 50x earning if you have 100 active ref.

As much as faucets can get you bitcoins it will take a tremendous amount of time to see any real big earnings. There are many better ways to earn bitcoins and in a quicker time, investing is one way if you are able to but also offering services and accepting bitcoin upon completion.

No faucets are truly free. They all make you look at their ads and take up your time. They pay well under one penny per hour.
+1 on this. Generally speaking you should avoid faucets like the plague as they are an incredible waste of time and provide zero entertainment value.

There are ways of getting bitcoins that require less time.

Care to elaborate?

Does anyone know if this pays out(im almost at 1BTC now):

if you have almost 1 BTC, you can sell it in trading forum, or in mining BTC forum.
Have you a wallet of BTC ? if you already you can share your BTC to your BTC address friends
thank you ...

Why are we bumping this old thread and website?

Half of those sites listed don't work / pay out anymore...lol

Because moriartybitcoin just wanted to promote his faucet without checking the thread date (he probably found the thread with forum searching "faucet").

BTW, he has negative trust for scamming.

Want some bitcoins for free? BTCPedia posted an up to date list of website, which offers small amount of bitcoins on daily, hourly basis. All you have to do things like viewing advertisements, answering questions, trying apps, referring others to the website, and making purchases at other websites. Some site also offers to complete a survey for free bitcoins.
