ebay is for retards ...

So this is where most people are and that's why I sell on ebay.
Yup. People here can do maths, and while my offers are rational, logical, and all that, they can sell on Ebay where a st00pid rube will pay twice the items' worth.

The difference between us and them is we're making money. :-)

Because the price of BTC shot up more people want to get in the game. Lets face it the only place to actually buy hardware and get it in your hand quick is Amazon, Ebay or Craigslist. People have no clue what this stuff will be worth in a few months and lets face it neither will we. Is that little USB stick going to make you a millionaire? No but it gets you in the game and you don't need a ton of money to get started.

I started doing this about a month and a half ago and let me tell you what happened to me, I bought 10 of those USB sticks for $9 each and everyone told me I was wasting money.... only I wasn't mining BTC... I was mining ALT coins..  ; )

I cashed in my ALTS and sold off all my stuff when the prices jumped for a huge profit but I want to keep mining... so I went to Amazon and thought the best bang for my buck would be a "Blade" setup.

Right now blades are the best buy.... but the price went from $199 to $399 in just a week so those guys are also cashing in.

Well it makes sense that with the value of BTC rising and the network hashrate not catching up fast enough, mining right now is more expensive then maybe it ought to be.

These things even out in time.

Did anyone else notice the huge price boom of gh/s when BTC popularity rose up last week? Mining gear used to be very affordable but now it's become very expensive to get anything.

Just two weeks ago there were lots of deals on here that were like $10 per Asic USB Miner for example and $100 Jalapenos, heck I even saw a 49 port hub + 49 USB Asic Miners going for $800!

However, one week later and guess what those things go for now?

Prices are going crazy for these mining hardware right now! IMO if you have some, you should sell soon before the next gen miners arrive, by that point your current rigs and hashing power will become outdated and the amount people will pay for your outdated hardware will significantly go down.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree that once the next gen arrives the value of these current gen items will significantly decrease? Why do you think the demand is so high?
