Alright, my apologies.

Could you comment on the last issue I raised about Nefario's thread?

You should remember that at that time the forum, specially the section of economics, was almost a monologue of threads discussing about inflation/deflation. Every new person though that his point of view was so important that deserved a new thread instead of just posting in one of the already opened threads. It made the forum unworkable, specially some sections.

So something like that was and is needed. You might think it could have been implemented better, thats fine, but it was and it is needed.

I want to point out to you that you should discuss any issue you have with moderation with the moerators in private first. Thats a forum rule. I could have taken down your post and asked you to talk in private under the forum rules. Because you have been here for a while Ive allowed this to happen in the open so you see I have nothing to hide. Next time I will apply forum rules. Also, on a personal note, I would appreciate if you contact me first instead of widly launch accusations. I dont get pay to moderate and I am a person, with my feelings and all that shit. So you asking me what happened before jumping to conclussions about me being a censor and widly accusing me in the open would be much appreciated.

If you have any more doubts you know where I am.

Could you point to the clone thread? If you are talking about just a mention in another thread then I'm pretty sure there's been a number of threads created for in-depth discussion of an article that has already been mentioned in passing in a bigger, noisier thread. If those are not closed but this one is then the only logical explanation I can arrive at is that the moderator team is biased.

Anyway, let's say I believe you and your sole motivator was the duplicated article, can I assume that if I create a thread titled "Deflationary Spiral" without any mention to any article wouldn't be closed?

And while I have your attention and we are on the subject of bias, don't you think that a pinned thread in the economics forum titled "Deflation and Bitcoin, the last word on this forum" with an angry face next to it, basically saying "if you have criticism of deflation just save it, because I'm right and you are wrong", isn't extremely biased?

Because I knew that was the reason you were going to give me but I don't believe it for a second. If duplicate discussion was a reason for locking threads then a third of all threads in the entire forum should be locked. This lock was just you being insecure about your own beliefs.

The exact same article, not the same area of discussion.

The article is duplicated. Thats why the thread was closed.

As a rule, shouldnt you try to contact the moderators to know what happened as opposed to widly accuse someone? The worst part is that its clearly stated in the post that its duplicated.

He closed this thread just because he believes deflationary spirals are a fallacy, when it is a controversial subject very much open for discussion. Is this abuse of power tolerated by the administration?
