Imagine we would have a coin anybody could mine with simplest computer just offering own time. And moreover if the people would be doing something useful.

It would be the most fairly distributed. And very social. People without job, from poor countries would become "bankers". They could earn 1 dollar a day and it would be still be happy because it is more than what many people earn per day now. Also their literacy could rise - they would be motivated to learn reading and basics of computer work.

It would be revolutionary.

The only little problem is how to do it...

I think it would be a great idea to make a human mine-able crypto currency that rewards people who work on indexing genealogical records.

This is a tedious thankless job that requires several steps that no computer can automate.

It would be great if all these volunteers could be rewarded like this.

Designing a process that can be done by humans but verified 100% by computers in cryptography without botting is a difficult task, I'm working on something along those lines and it's more complex then most people think.
