I received 6 emails though I do not use this exchange and have never even heard of it before. I have never even registered on the website and am still receiving these authentication emails. I guess it's a scam attempt by the site or someone is randomly accessing email accounts from the hacked email database of bitcointalk.

I received the same email, all links although point to the legitimate website.
Nevertheless this is the wrong section. Nothing really to worry about, might be a cracking attempt on your long forgotten account. If you really don't have any, like me, I'll most certainly waiting for an official announcement from the exchange.

I just got a suspicious email from  "Huobi"

It says:

----------
Hello,
Welcome to Huobi!
You have recently received instructions to enter a one-time authentication code to create your Huobi account.
Your code is:
For security reasons, this code will expire in 30 minutes.

I never signed up to Huobi so this is a phishing attempt.
Message headers show the sending server is on a google blacklist.

Not sure how they got my email address.
