To be honest I find there is a bit of voodoo involved in LTC mining. Sometimes cgminer will work, other times I have to use reaper for certain machines. Sometimes a certain clock speed and intensity will run fine for days, othertimes I get crashes every few hours...

It just seems very strange that on the same machine one string will work great with cgminer in windows, but in linux it wont work at all without massive hardware errors.  And although reaper is sorta working now in linux, it is not nearly as useful as cgminer.....

Adding that I compiled reaper on linux and am getting okay hash results, without any hardware errors like cgminer.  this is very strange.

I highly prefer cgminer it seems like a far superior software package (granular, stable, recently updated, etc), but I'm at a loss how to get it to work on linux at the moment. Any ideas would be welcome.  Smiley

I can't seem to get my dual 6950s to do anything useful under linux.  I tried them out in Windows land and they run great as expected.  But for whatever reason under Mint Linux I'm getting almost 99% HW errors.

I'm using cgminer with the scrypt flag, but can't seem to get any decent results.  Anyone have any ideas?  I've tried different SDKs, different ATI drivers, and I've used cgminer binaries and compiled 3 different versions from source.  Still no luck.  they all just throw massive amounts of errors.

I'm running a 3.2 kernel and have am currently on the ATI beta drivers as nothing else worked either.  I'm running out of ideas.
